Most of us don't hate Hal, we just don't care for him. o.o

Or for the odd hero worship he gets from time to time.

Or the fact every time he shows up, writers force Kyle's "Well maybe I'm not quite as good as Hal..." hash up which was done too many times, just to make Hal look good. =/

And some of us just like Hal for what he is. This without hating Kyle.
While he is the one actually worshiped, oh and Guy Gardner too. Wow. Not only Hal.
Or the fact writers forces Kyle to spend 10 years in the league saying himself "I do not deserve it, I'm not as good as the old man" or this kind of talk, just to make him look like humble. =/

And Gardner's definitely not on par with Hal in terms of how people view him.

People like him, some GL's aspire to be similar to him, but he's generally regarded as that jackass who's pretty good with a ring. =/

...a lot of different writers did that though....

I might take the occasional cheap shot at Kyle, but I don't dislike him, I just never related to the character in any way....when he was first introduced he came off as Peter Parker

I get that Kyle is a lot more relatable to some of the fanbase with him being an "artist" and all and how a lot of the fandom consider themselves "artists" even though they just draw ****** superheroes while working 2nd shift at Wal-Mart
