Why would anyone take that bet? Sinestro wins. It's his corps. I'm curious to see what'll happen with Mongul, though. I don't think they'll just off him, although Mongul as a Black Lantern is a pretty f***ing scary thought.

He can. Mongul almost got beaten by Arkillo, who is no where near as powerful or as skilled as Sinestro is.

To borrow some terminology from TV Tropes, Sinestro is a magnificent bastard, while Mongul is a complete monster. Sinestro's the cool baddie you love to hate, while Mongul is just devoid of any redeeming qualities. So most of us have been itching to see Sinestro give him his overdue comeuppance. I hope that's what happens.

And some of us just like Hal for what he is. This without hating Kyle.
While he is the one actually worshiped, oh and Guy Gardner too. Wow. Not only Hal.
Or the fact writers forces Kyle to spend 10 years in the league saying himself "I do not deserve it, I'm not as good as the old man" or this kind of talk, just to make him look like humble. =/

I'd have to say Alan Scott and Kyle Rayner are absolutely the most overrated GL's on the SHH! message board, and that makes me truly glad that the internet does not represent a majority. I cant really say I have a favorite GL, but I like the fact that Hal has taken center stage again, as I doubt the past few years wouldve happened with Kyle, Alan, Guy, or John in Hal's place

Well, we can really sit and argue with it, but that's how the MU thinks. It's really not a, "How do you think MG, and how do you think, Kitsune?" It's literally a, "How would the MU rationalize this?" situation. And that's how they'd do it.

So it's not my argument. My argument would be, that in time of enemy combatants in the original implementation of the act, you would detain the prisoners for a period of time, until a council could be made to organize a fair method of giving them trial after study. If I so chose to defend it.
