Of note is the fact that Ganthet mentions he's made a vow to fight against the Guardians and the Green Lantern Corps.
What the what? I hope they deal with this in GLC a bit as well, 'cause I'm really confused about what's going on with Ganthet now...

Also of note is that Larfleeze steals Lex's sandwich.

That's a dangerous game to play. Lex started a lifelong blood feud with Superman just beause he cost him his hair. Heaven knows what he does to people who swipe his snacks

That's a lame pre-Crisis justification for Lex's anger. Lex hates Superman because he represents a free handout that discourages mankind from fulfilling its own potential. :argh:

I know, I know...I was just kidding

Am I to take it that you think Lex is right, post-crisis then?

Woah thats pretty awesome! Anything else cool in it?

So Atrocitus and Guy are teaming up? Maybe Atrocitus is the Red Lantern Tomasi said was going to be in Emerald Warriors. Me likey if so!

It's an admirable sentiment, but clearly Lex is far more interested in elevating himself more than the whole of humanity.

Very true. When he talks about how he doesn't want humanity to constantly look up to Superman it's pretty clear he just wants them all to look up to HIM instead. The closest he ever came to altruism was probably the Everyman project, giving everyone the chance to be superheroes. And then look what he did with that.

As i said i am new to GL but i picked up Secret Origins and loved it but i picked up :

Rage Of The Red Lanterns
Agent Orange

Well since chronologically they came after but i am lost on several things while reading Rage Of The Red Lanterns.(Paralax,Anti-Monitor,Sinestro's Betrayal, etc.)

Since i heard No Fear starts the run of John's series should i get that and it seems like Sinestro Corps Wars comes before Rage Of The Red Lanterns since he is imprisoned in that book.

So if i get No Fear and Sinestro Corps War 1 & 2 should i be caught up or is there other books besides those that i should get?

I'd say read everything from Rebirth to current. Some of the early arcs are one and dones - No Fear, Hal Jordan: Wanted, Revenge of the Green Lanterns - but once Sinestro Corps War starts pretty much everything from then on is one long cohesive story.

You should pick up all the Green Lantern Corps books starting from either the start or Sinestro Corps area when Tomasi comes on, cause they're - arguably - better than the GL proper.

so get Rebirth and Sinestro Corps War 1&2 and i should be good and caught up with Rage Of Red Lanterns/Agent Orange/Secret Origins/?

can't wait for all the stories to unfold. the figure in the beginning has to do with the Starheart for sure.

So Ganthet, Kyle, and John are going to be treated as the stars of the series now. That's cool. I've been looking forward to what Ganthet's new position as a Green Lantern will mean for him, so I'm glad he's getting a lot of the spotlight.

Plus, REBELS crossover!

So this means that the GL saga will be three different series and whatever they do with Brightest Day? I'm guessing Gardner is the star of the new series?

The more GL books, the better. Along with Flash, it's the only thing keeping me from being 100%Marvel

Yeah GL Warriors stars Gardner, Kilowogg and a Red Lantern. This Red Lantern seems to be Atrocitus.

- Green Lantern with Hal, Hal, and more Hal
- Green Lantern Corps with John, Kyle, Ganthet, Soranik, and various other Corps members
- Green Lantern: Emerald Warriors with Guy, Kilowog, some Red Lantern, and possibly others

Bedard made it seem like Emerald Warriors was still in the planning stages to some extent, so I'm kind of wondering when we'll actually see the first issue. I hope it's this year. If not, I'd have to question why Guy wasn't available for JLI: Generation Lost.

So, Bernard on GLC and Tomasi going to Emerald? That's kind of weird. Seems like Tomasi would stick with GLC and they'd ease Bernard in with the new title, but it doesn't matter, sounds pretty solid

It seems like Tomasi just wanted to focus more on Guy. Makes more sense in that case to give him and Guy their own series, since GLC still has to remain devoted to the Corps as a whole, regardless of who's writing.

Man they split the cast up ingeniously so that I have to buy both books. I hope the Bromance between Kyle and Guy is still full on even though they are in different books.

Yeah, I want Guy to still appear occasionally in GLC. GLC should literally be able to pick and choose any GLs they want to appear, really.
