One of my personal favorite parts of GRINDHOUSE where the super sexy Babysitter Twins, who were played by Robert Rodriguez's nieces Electra & Elise Avellan. Today we chatted with the lovely ladies who had some interesting news that will blow your socks off. We asked the girls about MACHETE to which Elise and Electra talked over each other, "Robert [Rodriguez] said he’d do it [Machete] and asked for us to be in it," they explain, "Robert wants to do GRINDHOUSE 2 with [the two films being] "Machete" and "The Babysitter Twins." The news sounds exciting, but now Rodriguez is busy with BARBARELLA and such, the twins don't know how soon we'll hear something official.

Although nothing is confirmed as to what will happen with GRINDHOUSE 2, the girls still know what their story would be about, assuming it's one of the next two films, "Robert mentioned something about the end of the world and Hollywood action films, where we’d be trained in Mexico to come back here and fight," Electra states. Elise then elaborates, "Hollywood starts ****ing with us so we start killing… we [would] kill Harvey Weinstein in the movie, although that’s just talk now right," she clarifies.

The first part of DP was great. Then when he went after another set of girls, it went completely downhill.

the next batch were more comical and uplifting sorta.

i dunno... i see how you can hate it though.
its slow, especially when next to a RR film..

I'm glad they released Death Proof and Planet Terror seperately here, I wouldn't want to sit through an entire Rodriguez turd before seeing an awesome Tarantino flick.

The Weinstein Company and Genius Products announced today that the two films that made up the classically under-rated Grindhouse release will hit DVD on two separate, extended and unrated DVDs.

Quentin Tarantino's serial-killer homage to the old school car chase film, Death Proof will hit shelves with over 30 minutes of additional, never-before-seen footage including the maddening "missing reel" (containing the excised lapdance sequence) as well as a black and white segment in the film's second act. The DVD will hit on September 18, 2007 for a price of $29.95. Features will include:

They'll release a special/ultimate/collector's edition with everything sometime down the road I'm sure. Then again, I'm still waiting for a Kill Bill set...

I didn't care for Planet Terror, so I don't mind the double DVD release personally but it is kinda lame to hype the double feature premise then release the thing as two separarate movies.

Death Proof was awesome and I'll pick that one up definitely. I hope Machete gets made..."They ****ed with the wrong Mexican!"

The special features for Rob Rod's movies are always awesome. I love his 10 minute flick schools and cooking schools. Anyone who enjoys them as much as I do, I'd highly recommend Once Upon A Time in Mexico, the special features are better than the actual film

yes, it is...he's made some great movies...the Desperado trilogy, Sin f**king City, and Planet Terror was awesome as hell (one of the best zombie movies I've ever seen)

I personally think he's been slipping as of lately. Sin City was Miller's story, what can Rob Rod be credited for with that? Holding the camera? PT was cool, he finally went back to his roots of cool movie making instead of obsessing over greenscreen and s****y special effects like with Spy Kids 3D and Sharkboy and Lavagirl.

Bring the style of the movie to the screen his company did an awesome job getting the look of it. And the Direction of it was great
