I really need an avatar of Dakota snapping her wrist in that car door with a little pwned on the bottom of it.

How lame that it wasn´t shown here at all :(

WTF. Why are they releasing this separately. This is F***ING wrong.

The entire point of GrindHouse is it being two features BACK TO BACK for the price of one! Now I gotta pay for two...

Surprise they didn't release them separately in theaters...oh wait

Just means they can suffer the wrath of piracy now for being a-ssholes about it.
I know I'm gonna contribute.

Seriously, if Grindhouse isn't released as the double feature in UK, I'm going to be seriously upset. I want to experience the whole package

Here have a tissue cause these suckers are split.

Do what i did and get it off the net ;) Its an awesome movie AS A WHOLE! Dumb ass winestines

4. Mr. Bean's Holiday
hahaha! :woot:

M. Bean's Holiday is most watched film of 2007 in Finland. It was 5 weeks top at the box office. Only Spider-Man 3 could top it.

(Dunno if it is any good. Haven't seen it yet. Though I liked the show and the first movie.)

*dabs eyes softly with tissue*

I really wanted to see all the fake trailers and presentation in a cinema though, thats the whole point of it. It just won't feel the same watching it on my TV. :csad:

Trejo says Machete ready

I know it seems like we and everyone else has run this story a hundred times already, but when you’ve got an opportunity to hear it directly from Machete’s mouth, why not listen to the man?

Danny Trejo was badassin’ his way down the red carpet for the premiere of 1408 when he was asked by Access Hollywood about the rumored feature.

He says they’re just waiting for Robert Rodriguez to be available, and it’s looking to get ready as early as this year, and is definitely intended as a theatrical film.

He also encourages everybody to email the Weinsteins, and why not?

In an interview with Rolling Stone a month or so back, Rodriguez revealed that he has been planning MACHETE since 1993, right after casting Trejo in DESPERADO.

"I had cast him in Desperado and I remember thinking, 'Wow, this guy should have his own series of Mexican exploitation movies like Charles Bronson or like Jean-Claude Van Damme.' So I wrote him this idea of a federale from Mexico who gets hired to do hatchet jobs in the U.S.," Rodriguez said in an interview with Rolling Stone. "I had heard sometimes FBI or DEA have a really tough job that they don't want to get their own agents killed on, they'll hire an agent from Mexico to come do the job for $25,000. I thought, 'That's Machete. He would come and do a really dangerous job for a lot of money to him but for everyone else over here it's peanuts.' But I never got around to making it."

I'm not buying seperate DVDs...I've been playing the waiting game with Kill Bill, waiting for both of them together, for years now, and I can do the same with these. I'll rent, and copy them, and have those till they release a GOOD DVD with both movies on it, as god intended :o

I'm with you on everything except copying the movies.
I have been waiting to find out about the DVD, but I'm not buying them seperately. I'll skip it, just like I did Kill Bill.

Grindhouse Releasing Launches Official Website

Grindhouse Releasing - who recently distributed an amazing version of Ruggero Deodato’s Cannibal Holocaust and will be releasing Cannibal Ferox, Cat in the Brain, The Beyond and Pieces in the near future - launched their official website this week, which has a great deal of info available for all of their fabulous releases. Even though Dimension Films' Grindhouse was a flop, in it's wake came a much larger awareness of the sub-genre, which is sure to help this amazing DVD co. Watch for more soon!

July's Grindhouse Double-Feature
Give McClane a breather, let the Transformers oil their gears and join the Los Angeles Grindhouse Film Festival as it pays tribute to schlock machine Boxoffice International Pictures at the New Beverly Cinema (7165 Beverly Blvd.).

This month's double-feature: Frankenstein's Castle of Freaks, released last year under Elvira's Movie Macabre DVD line, and Vidal Raski's The Sinful Dwarf ("A young bride...left alone to the lewd passions of an evil dwarf!"). No better way to spend a Tuesday night, we say.

This night of exploitation, scientific meddling and the cravings of a little person takes place on July 24th beginning at 7:30pm. Admission will set you back eight bucks - that will make you eligible for a raffle giveaway.

I'm waiting for the day when Grindhouse is put on DVD, not Planet Terror and Death Proof, GRINDHOUSE!

I'm holding out as well, though I fear it will be a long wait. :csad:

Babysitter Twins Take Over in 'Grindhouse 2'

Even with the box office flop of Dimension Films' Grindhouse, star Danny Trejo has been talking very highly about the possibilities of a sequel starring his character featured in one of the faux trailers, "Machete", which would be directed by Robert Rodriguez. Since then there hasn't been a peep, until now. This afternoon Bloody-Disgusting was looming on set of The Black Waters of Echo's Pond, where the Babysitter twins (Electra & Elise Avellan) were on hand and had something quite interesting to say. Read on for this monster scoop.

One of my personal favorite parts of GRINDHOUSE where the super sexy Babysitter Twins, who were played by Robert Rodriguez's nieces Electra & Elise Avellan. Today we chatted with the lovely ladies who had some interesting news that will blow your socks off. We asked the girls about MACHETE to which Elise and Electra talked over each other, "Robert [Rodriguez] said he’d do it [Machete] and asked for us to be in it," they explain, "Robert wants to do GRINDHOUSE 2 with [the two films being] "Machete" and "The Babysitter Twins." The news sounds exciting, but now Rodriguez is busy with BARBARELLA and such, the twins don't know how soon we'll hear something official.

Although nothing is confirmed as to what will happen with GRINDHOUSE 2, the girls still know what their story would be about, assuming it's one of the next two films, "Robert mentioned something about the end of the world and Hollywood action films, where we’d be trained in Mexico to come back here and fight," Electra states. Elise then elaborates, "Hollywood starts ****ing with us so we start killing… we [would] kill Harvey Weinstein in the movie, although that’s just talk now right," she clarifies.

In Gabriel Bologna's The Black Waters of Echo's Pond, written by B-D reporter Sean Clark, nine friends take a holiday at a Victorian home on a private island and uncover a game that when played brings out the worst in each of them. Jealously, greed, hatred, lust, all of the things they keep buried deep inside themselves rise to the surface and come to a boil. The Black Waters of Echo’s Pond shows those who look into it what they want to see… but what you want to see isn’t always the truth.

Yeah, that annoys me to no end. I want to see ELi Roth's Thanksgiving some day on the big screen too, but that will never happen.

i dont know why... but i never laughed so hard in my life:huh:

10min straight... no kidding

I'm holding out as well, though I fear it will be a long wait. :csad:

Could be a long wait...very long wait considering Taratino's and Rob's record, when it comes to combo editions.

Personally, it's annoying to find out that their releasing them seperately. Takes away from the true experience.

cant blame them really... after it bombing unexpectedly..

shame...

that movie bombing was really the most dissapointing thing ever :(

It made a total of 25 Million in theaters on a budget over 60 Mil.

DAMN!

And it should be a crime to release them separately(looks like they want to milk as much money out of this as possible). I bet if they could go back in time, they'd have released them separately in theaters too.
