ummm clark had his clothes burned off in smallville...

i think what would be pretty bad ass.. is if you see a giant fire ball fly at iceman, hitting him... you see alot of steam and smoke and he walks out of it all iced up (it would have burned his clothes off, but hed look like a unic like he does in the comics, lol)

It would be kinda like a stupid Hulk thing where just his shirt burns off and not his pants.

I understand that it's clearly something that shouldn't be done here in this forum so Crave doesn't get sued now that a mod has spoken but out of curiousity what word would you use to replace his point? Feminine. Then your offending women for some reason. Howabout fruity? Unmanly? Then you're saying the opposite of a man is bad. Perhaps not masculine?

How about just saying the idea isn't very good? Or wouldn't work well on screen, or that most male audiences are too sensitive to certain scenes that may be misconstrued as homoerotic?

Iceman is gonna be one of people's favorite characters after this movie comes out.

The point being, it's not likely they'd go for Iceman getting his uniform burnt off. Though it would be cool to see him in his iced-up glory, the naked manliness probably won't fly for a straight character in an X-Men movie.

I'm looking forward to seeing the ice-slide... I sincerely hope they put a lot of snowboard-style movement to it, because that's how I've always envisioned it. Besides, in X2 when we saw Bobby's room he's clearly an avid snowboarder, so that would carry over well to the ice-slide

And he'd look so much better in his uniform from the upcoming game, with the blue. Hell, he'd look better with the icicles uniform from the X2 promo pics.

Smallville was rated pretty high for men between 18-34. A lot of people have heard of it, they just don't watch it.

I'm not too sure about that. I never liked his extreme style when it came to drawing Iceman. I'd have to go with Romita Jr. as the best there is (See below). So far, he's done the best rendition of Iceman that I've ever seen (Uncanny #302). Next on the list is Kubert, then Vaughan from Ultimate X-Men.

Seriously...I think the shirtless Clark Kent thing is a little over stated by non Smallville fans. There are plenty of things to enjoy about the show without singling out something that hasn't happened all that often during the many seasons it has been on air.

I guess if we were to take this angle with everything then the only reason I enjoyed The Hulk tv show and the film was because Bill Bixby and Eric Bana were shirtless a lot.

and you know what they say about males who have issues looking at men in semi nude in scenes...they are repressing their true sexual feelings, they protest too much.

why do people think that if his close are ripped off u will see an icy form of his twig and berries? hell he runs around as a naked iceman all the time.. i know he ices up with clothes on... but when hes in his ice form you definately never see the clothes.) the scene i described was perfect.. hell julk had his clothes ripped off .. nothing was wrong with that... and there was nothing homo-erotic about clark being thrown alive into a furnace and came out naked. its just comon sense. if iceman had a fire ball thrown at him.. and walked out of the steam covered in ice... and a small burnt piece of his X-costume fall off his shoulder or something as he walked out.. theres not a damn thing wrong with that.
