The Last Starfighter, 1984. Those thingies have been around forever in scifi movies.

Perfect trailer. I know I say that after every single preview gets released, but this did a great job of differentiating itself from the past films. It has a very different tone than the other movies, yet it seems like a natural extension from where Tony was left off from the Avengers. I'm loving the new suit, the darker tone, and the little snippets we got of Tony's new tech and the mandarin.
And those shots of the helicopters blowing up his mansion are astounding. Seriously, that is a breathtaking sequence and I can't wait to see it in theaters.

Guys I wonder if this trailer will be adapted into a full feature motion picture like the first Iron man trailer. If they do i hope the movie stay's true to the trailer.

looks to be the best marvel film yet.
I hope this will be the case
And as I said it the first time, it will finally have a good Mandarin adaption unlike the cartoon adaptions

I like to hear my own voice :oldrazz:

That video is a spoof from The Onion....

I think he knows that...hence the joke.

I thought so, too, but when no one else bit I decided to. For some reason it reminded me of this:

One day RDJ is going to expand that trailer into a movie and win five Oscars. Mark my word.

Satan's Alley will be made into a movie one day...as long as you thrown in Nic Cage somewhere. :awesome::o

"Large haired shouting kids"? Are you guys talking about Dragonball?

Yes they are
That franchise desperately needs to be Nolanized :p

More that someone commented using a DB image I stated I've never seen it as it just doesn't interest me at all .. then Caboose posted a picture in shock that someone might not be a fan of a poor cartoon.

Anyone got the vibe of a Nolan movie wannabe from this trailer?
Some talked about their  reaction to such responses to this trailer and it was good for a few laughs

Believe it or not, but there were high-stake action movies made before Nolan. Some of them were made by Shane Black.

Correct it seems people only have a memory of the past 5-6years.

Both the Die Hard and Lethal Weapon series were full of high-stakes action, whilst still able to add in humour that worked perfectly.

Is Shane Black one of the talents with consistent high talent even to this day?

I was reasonably underwhelmed by the trailer if i'm honest. Didn't quite 'pop' for me.

Quite like the look of the Iron Patriot character though, that could be fun. And Guy Pearce is nearly always interesting.

I fail to understand what your trying to point out here.
The guy wrote a list of pretty awesome work, he took a break and came back with a fun quirky action film now he has this huge gig.
Whats your problem?
