The official INCREDIBLE Hulk thread...........

Incidentally, after re-reading #610 the high point to me (other than you-know-who's return :cwink:) was Banner beating the CRAP out of the Leader. I was actually kind of disappointed when the Leader teleported away, cause he so had that butt-whuppin coming.

Yeah..I dug the Banner beatdown as well. Long time coming on that one..

Pretty cool cameo at the end, but isn't it remarkable how they don't leave any hint as to which version it is? Splash page was da*n sweet though!

Not sure why we have a month's worth of one-shots when we could, (and should), just get back to the main comic..especially with the return. Oh well, whatever, looks like I get to save $3.99 in July, lol.

Ummm...welcome to the finish line? Though the race was last month...still, here's your "medal" for participating, I guess...a box of Tic Tacs.

I did enjoy reading Poochie's origin story in Hulk # 23, if for no reason than the fact that the art for each part of the story was drawn in the style of the Hulk comics that were out at the time, often using the actual artist (Sal Buscema, etc).

As a character piece, Hulk #23 was great at showcasing Ross' controlling nature. As a valid explanation for all that's happened? I don't know...I mean, he teamed up with the Leader and MODOK. They're EVIL, not misunderstood. MODOK is a giant brain made of concentrated EVIL! Yes, Ross was between a rock and a hard place with a great deal being offered, but it doesn't get much more untrustworthy than a green egg(shaped)head who casually walks around in a hazmat suit on Sundays.

I try to stay open minded. But this twist doesn't fly with me.

Yeah, that whole thing basically turned Ross from a neutral antagonist/rival to a straight up villain.

That bothers me as well. Ross was never an evil man, just obsessive and stubborn. I wonder what future he'll have now?

Parker and Hardman are the new Hulk team?

When Marvel's September solicitations were released last month, the creative teams for the three Hulk titles were labeled as "Classified." Word later trickled out, through online retailers and then the Marvel Previews catalog, that Agents of Atlas creators Jeff Parker and Gabriel Hardman are taking over Hulk with Issue 25.
Curiously, though, the publisher has yet to make an official statement about the change, which follows the conclusion of the Red Hulk saga and the hiring of writer Jeph Loeb to head Marvel's new television division.
The closest Marvel has come to a public confirmation is an article posted yesterday afternoon on its website trumpeting Hardman's new exclusive deal. If the secondary headline doesn't provide enough of a clue to the artist's next assignment -- "The ATLAS artist signs exclusive with Marvel and prepares to tackle The Hulk" -- the story's final two paragraphs stop just short of making it official. Or "official-official":
As for what the future holds for the artist, he plans to continue on Atlas as long as possible, but he also informs readers to keep their eyes open for his take on the green goliath known as The Hulk.
"Me and Parker and [colorist Elizabeth Breitweiser] are going to work on another book that is going to be big and have a lot of explosive punching and other big action things in it."
Marvel had no comment. When contacted by Robot 6, Parker responded only with the following photo:

Sweet. Nothing against Parker, but any change, the way Loeb's been handling this book, is addition by subtraction.

This kind of makes me worried about Atlas. I would be very, very surprised if Hardman can actually manage to do two monthlies simultaneously. If he can't, then that obviously means he's either leaving Atlas or Atlas is just flat-out getting canceled--which, granted, I figured it would eventually, but it's not even done with its first arc yet! :csad:

Gah, I'm bummed out that we've got to wait a month before the story continues...we're having the minis focus on the hulked out heroes?! Gah, their story is over and they were just rampaging, how do they warrant minis?! :(

That fight does look pretty awesome. I just hope they're allowed to fight w/o too much interruption from other superheroes

Grrraaaaarwl! I wanted at least a hint at who it was. I'm guessing he's not Savage since Skarr is actively fighting him; he's not disappointed and throwing a hissy fit like last time.

Well, he bleeds. Professor, maybe? Or has bleeding become a thing for all Hulks now? Eh, it's probably Green Scar. They've teased about the big showdown long enough. It's time for the actual fight to go down.
