They made it abundantly clear that the Hulk we saw fighting Skaar was NOT Bruce Banner.![]()
Yeah, he and Hiroim basically declared their love for each other before Hiroim died in a mini-series a couple years back.
Nah, I'm totally cool with it.Anybody else wish they'd given the new Hulk, whether it's Banner in control or just a moderately intelligent Hulk, some proper pants and shoes and such? He looks really weird with a utility belt and shorts.
I would so buy a Summer Fun Time Hulk doll.Eh, he looks like "Summer Fun Time Hulk" to me.
Since World War Hulks was a crossover between Hulk and Incredible Hulk, you would have to read the Incredible Hulk (the book starring Banner) on how he gained control of the Hulk. They show it pretty clearly.Yep, kind of a letdown, since I was really hoping to see Green Scar (who looked like he was back in the last TIH issue) fight Red Poochie. Apparently, though, Banner now controls Hulk in one of Jeph Loeb's famous unexplained status quo changes. Also, Poochie neglected to use his "loeb ex machina" energy drain powers on Hulk again for some (unexplained!) reason.
He's such a poor writer.![]()
At the end of Incredible Hulk when Skaar tells Hulk that Banner just simply never understood the Hulk and then the Hulk saw himself in the role of Banner's abusive father is when Banner took control. They don't flat out say it, but they make it clear that that was when Banner took control.I read it. They explain no such thing.![]()
Yes because Incredible Hulk dealt with Skaar and Banners' role in World War Hulks and Hulk dealt with Ross'. Why would it be the other way around? Why would they put Banner taking control of the Hulk in a book that isn't his? There's actually almost no reason to think the two issues are even part of the same storyline.
