There are two previous volumes, mostly illustrated by Luke Ross and Phil Noto, before the Origin arc. Volume 1 or Volume 3 both make convenient jumping on points.

Showcase Presents deals more directly with Quentin Turnbull and is another convenient point of reference.

Actually heavier set women were considered "attractive" in that day.

A woman like Fox above would just be considered poor and "unattractive".
