have you ever saw a director bashing the studio ? maybe after some years but not when he is going to do a sequel.

You are right that a director would never throw the studio under the bus if they plan on working with them, but the only evidence we have is that Singer edited the movie because he has stated it numerous times. He has taken the blame so we need to blame him on the editing front, which I had HUGE problems with.

I completely agree with you. I blame both Singer and WB for what I didn't like in SR.

I think that is the approach I take on certain aspects of the production. There are some that rest squarely on the shoulders of Singer and some that should lay heavy on WB's mind, all in all it was a team effort if you liked the movie or didn't.

Why can't some things just be as simple as the director himself decided to cut a scene. Showtime said it with this "I agree with you that the only thing we can go by is that Singer has said he cut the film and it was his call. We have nothing else to go by and I am not going to create conspiracy theories. Singer botched the editing.", which I totally agree with.

As you may or may not know, the editing of the film was one of my biggest problems. I know almost always, that movies do not follow the path of the script and there are always changes. However, if you read the script, there is a much better flow than the movie offered. In my opinion anyway.

Then you move to the movie itself and some of the most important scenes aiming towards the story Singer wanted to tell were cut from the film.

1) The world moving on without Superman.
2) Superman's friends and family moving on without him.
3) Superman not wanting to take on the reigns of Superman
4) Lex Luthor being responsible for Superman's fruitless Journey to Krypton
5) Return to Krypton

These are important core parts of the story that Singer was set on telling and something changed along the way.

We have Naite22, who loves everything, so it's more just his style of posting than anything else. El Payaso is like me, who points out the idiocy of some peoples statements. There is you, who is fairly balanced. AVEITWITHJAMON is not antagonistic at all and lets things go. JcDc is very interested in other peoples opinions. Pickle-El is barely here and never usually argues without an article to base his argument on. manofsteel4life is for the movie, but doesn't attack others that much unless they themselves are attacking. Justice Bringer isn't antagonistic. I may be missing some people, but who is it that praises SR on the level that buggs, superbaby or BareKnucklez attack the movie? It's not me, because I never praise the film, just defend it from those who are full out attacking it rather than criticising it constructively.

It's not that you do what you do, its obvious to everybody on the boards except you for some reason. It's the fact that you act as if you are somehow even keeled and open to people's opinions.

But I am. I'm open to everyones opinion here. I am however, not open to accept that it is logical to criticise a movie, or anything for that matter (except for politics) on the level that some are doing here. I'm not saying that every person who dislikes the movie is doing this, as there are some who are fair and logical, but there are a few trolls here that you seem to be unwilling to chastise, instead choosing to somehow paint me as the aggressor. Why is that?

If you believe that you are open to everybody's opinion but in the same sentence are saying there are those who are trolling only on the side that doesn't agree with you, then you need those glasses checked in your avatar. That being said, if you don't see it, then that is fine. We can disagree.

I have stood up for both sides and also have come down on both sides if I felt the need to. You can ask anybody on these boards about that, I am willing to bet they would agree that I try and be as fair as possible.

I have a negative opinion sometimes, and you don't say anything to me, but again I have never seen you combat a overzealous positive response, and if you have its definately a minority of time.

Discredit you from what though? It's not your job to combat anything. If you were getting paid by WB then I would say go for it. That is what MODS are for. I am simply trying to tell you how it looks from the outside reading your posts. Consider it friendly advice. There have been many like you, that have been banned for their crusades to save the board from what they deem negativity. That is up to you. Some people also try to come back again and again, and keep getting banned.

It's also more productive to talk about improvements. This is also what I want from the haters, instead of just complaining, offer something constructive. I do not wish to see bugg's latest thing he dislikes about the film, I wish to see what buggs wants fixed in a sequel.

The Dark Knight boards are the same. Even valid criticisms or harmless worries are destroyed by a lot of the positive posters there. There are negative trolls too, but the positive trolls do not distinguish them from everyone with a negative opinion.
