Agreed...my second favorite hero!

Did you ever watch Angel: The Series? He only got better, and in my opinion it is the better show of the two!

Oh yeah, I watched Angel, I liked that show, overall I would agree that it was the better of the two, but when the whole Angel and Buffy storyline was going on Buffy, that was some of the best stuff I have watched in a long, long time.

Lex is not as vain as us, I mean you :cwink:

Angel and Buffy was a modern day, fantasy based Shakespeare love story!

I am the vain one....lol

Yeah I really loved the whole Angel and Buffy storyline, I thought it was really well done, he was great trying to fight his feeling's for her because he knew what would happen, and when he went evil I loved it, yeah I am sick :woot:

Admiting that you are vain is the first step to recovery LOL :woot: I am proud of you.

I loved every aspect of the Angel character, it's probably one of if not my favorite characters of all time. I was just drawn to his story of falling into darkness and then attempting to achieve redemption while at the same time curbing his human soul because life's fulfillment might equal falling into darkness again. And that he made me laugh alot:yay: . My second favorite character would be Wesley. His journey from dorky but intelligent nerd into an utter bad ass is amazing.

Admitting is the first and final step because then you can say f^ck and continue being vain.....I recovered sometime ago:cwink:

Angel was a great character, his fight for redemption was just amazing to watch, and his death on Buffy was just awesome tv, plus yeah he did find a way to get a laugh in every show. I was shocked to watch how the Wesley character changed over the run of the show, it was very well done and didn't seem at all like it couldn't happen.

I was vain the day I was born, no need to admit it because I never felt I had a problem :cwink: :oldrazz: :woot:

As am I....I consider myself a very bi-polar member of the fantasy community. Well, actually I'm a Vampire with a human soul that, when feeling perfect happiness, can lose that soul and become very grrr.....ah nevermind:yay:

Yet you have the username venom420 and I Angeloz. ;)

By the way I too love the character and got addicted to his series. Plus loved his story on "Buffy" hence the username. ;) :)

I wondered about that lol.

Looking back, I would have picked a different username, I stayed away from talking on message boards until the McG fiasco, although I did read them. The username "venom420" was rushed and uncreative. I created a second alias once, NotFadeAway, but this name already had so many posts that I said screw it and kept it!. I wasn't going to be called a newbie by users with less actual posts to there name!

I'd cast David Boreanaz in a HEARTBEAT to play Superman, but he could only do one film because of his age!

I agree, I still think that the Buffy/Angel storyline is some of the best ever done. So the Angeloz username is for Angel eh, not to bad at all.

Venom420, your username is not because you are a Venom fan? I thought that was the reason :o

You can guess why I am "A Dark Knight" right.....it is because I like night time :woot:

Wes is deff. my favorite supporting character in the whedonverse. The change didn't feel forced or unbelievable at all. The first three seaons of Buffy are amazing, but beginning with season four it lost alot of charm and Angel passed it up as the better show!

Hey it's not a problem unless you think it's one lol!

I DO like Venom, alot actually, it just wouldn't be my first choice for a username if I actually sat down and thought about it:cwink:

A Nocturnal Knight, eh!!

You got that right bud! LOL :woot:

Yeah the first 3 seasons of Buffy are totally amazing, Angel had a hell of a lot to do with that, I was hoping that somehow they could bring him back in the final season, but I kind of knew that wouldn't happen since he had his own show. I love how Whedon did the whole Wesley change, he sure knows how do create things and get them from point A to B, he has done that in everything he has been a part of, I am hoping for a Serenity sequel :woot:

I love Venom also, what a total waste of him in Spiderman 3, 20min in the movie, COME ON! Hopefully when Sony does the next series of Spiderman films Venom will be a big part of it.

Yes a Nocturnal Knight is correct :batty: :batman: < Kind of like that :woot:

I agree about Wes and both series. Though the last "Angel" episode broke me because of what happened. It made it:
hard to watch the earlier shows because they killed my second favourite character - Wes. Plus the accumulation of the other deaths made the optimism of the first season a lie. Although sometimes characters do come back from the dead. Wes better be one of them with him not so broken. ;)

Sorry for the rant. I do understand though now how people got bitter over "Buffy". Although I'm not so much that way inclined. But I had to take a break. However I still love both series and Angel. :)

I would expect to see Lex in some sort of shape...especially if he is a self respecting wealthy "business" man.

I also want a Serenity sequel. They have so much more to tell about that story.

Raimi hates Venom. He basically said so when the first film came out, and was forced into putting Venom in the film, and it was a disgrace to the character. I hope the next series of Spidey films do the character justice, although I could see them simply bringing in Carnage!

I like Nocturnal Knight as well!

I'm right there with ya. I couldn't watch my box sets for quite sometimes because I got upset watching the earlier episodes. I don't blame the writers really, that was not supposed to be how the story ended, the WB cancellation really screwed them because they were setting up season 6 to be the deffinitve season. Your right, the optimism of season one got thrown out the window, and it bothers me, but it also plays into the story about how the fight will never stop. I have a hard time watching season five. The season was well made and written, but knowing it's the last season and knowing what happens to a certain three characters makes it tough to watch. But yes, I deff. don't feel like Wesley's story, let alone Angel's, has reached a conclusion.

I will say, I would like to see a Superman/Doomsday fight be in the same vein as Angel vs. The Beast. Only on a larger scale with a bigger budget, obviously!

You could tell Raimi hated Venom, you could see it in the movie, and when I was watching some of the interviews with Tobey, he was almost laughing when trying to explain Venom and the "black goo", that is what he called it, idiot! It is like he was mocking all the Spiderman fans. The cartoon Venom Saga is better than Spiderman 3, I hope to see Venom again because we really didn't get to see him on the big screen, but Carnage showing up on the big screen would be awesome.

Yes bring on the Serenity sequel, I read somewhere they were going to make one because of the very strong sales of the new 2 disc DVD, I hope that this is true.

I don't think that he would be fat or anything like that, so I agree he would be in some shape, likely from running from Superman :woot:

I agree 100%, I was hoping for a 2 hour movie or something to tie things up, but I don't think I am going to get my wish.

Cartoons always nail it...:yay:

I'd love to see a Serenity sequel, or perhaps FireFly back on television on the Sci-Fi network or something. I require this to fulfill my space adventure needs. I'm not sold on Abrams Star Trek remake, he got my hopes up with the casting of Zachary Quinto as Spock and then tore them down with Chris Pine as Kirk!

I don't think at this point Boreanaz would do it either. He got very pissed about how things ended. However, the season six comic will be out soon, so there might be some closure!
