LEVI NOT KEEN ON SUPERMAN, BUT MOORE IS ON LOIS
Zachary Levi (“Chuck”) told me today at the “Tangled” junket in Melbourne that, despite the rumours that popped up earlier in the year, he was never in contention to play Zack Snyder’s Superman. “I’ve already turned them down. Seems like kinda a stiff part”, joked the actor (Levi’s co-star Mandy Moore did express interest in the Lois Lane part though), adding that it’s not a role he’d really want to chase. Levi also told me he wouldn’t be involved in the next “Alvin & The Chipmunks” flick, due out next Christmas.

Lol, I hate too break it to him, but we didnt want him anyway, at all.

i wouldn't be opposed to Mandy Moore. she's pretty without looking like a supermodel and has solid acting skills. i'd still prefer someone else though.

Can it be? Could a former pop star turned actress actually look the part? She also strikes me as the woman Snyder would cast. She is 26 years old, an ideal age... Hmm... [looks at pictures and rubs chin]

MM too girly looking for me, Blunt however. . .

Yes please visually, not seen enough of her acting though. . .

For a fun role to watch Blunt in, watch Wild Target It was great seeing her alongside Bill Nighy and Rupert Grint

I have a feeling..... a strong feeling that the future Lois Lane will be Ashley Greene....

That big picture of hers is good. But Lois needs an even stronger presence - under no circumstances should she look as if she just finished high school...

what about the last pic??? I like her face structure, it's stronger...... I'm not a fan of Twilight.. but she does act well in the movies, given the source of course

She would fit more as Mary Jane Watson than Lois Lane, IMO.

She would fit a high school character better yes, but not Mary Jane

Anyone have know any films I could watch to get a sense of Greene's acting ability? I've seen the first Twilight film, but I found it to be weak overall and I don't think I should judge her on that alone. Keep in mind I swore to myself I'd never watch another Twilght film, so that's out.

I mean if Ashley Greene's performance in the first Twilight is the best she can do, then I would say no to her as Lois.

Apparently the new scuttlebutt online is that , actress Kristina Anapau is interested in trying out for the part. I've never heard of her before , though it seems the highest profile role she's had has been in Black Swan.

I saw Swan this past week and I gotta say I don't remember her at all. Screenrant has an interview with her in which they bring up the Superman issue. Youtube also has some video's of her work and her acting doesn't seem bad , though she looks young.

Speaking of 'Black Swan', what about Mila Kunis?

If we get a contenders list I wouldn't be surprised to see Kunis, Olivia Wilde and, maybe, Amber Heard on it. All 3 of them are young, talented, beautiful and on the way up.

I like mila, but she gives me too much of a katie holmes type vibe. Olivia Wilde would be great. I'm unfamiliar with heard.

I'm a huge Mila fan, big time crush on her, but I can't see her as Lois Lane.

Olivia Wilde better stays away from Batman and Superman. She has already ruined House for me!
