Seeing that movie tonight, I'll let you know what I think of her performance. Haven't seen her in anything.

Just to reinforce what everyone else has said, no thanks weird-eyes.

I stand by my Evangiline Lilly choice until an official announcement is made.

i think you're thinking of megan fox's thumbs. i'm sure no one will notice lilly's hands if she plays lois, since no one knew that about her hands. i don't see what you're seeing.

hands are overrated. now hooks would be quite an interesting take for lois....

I was thinking about her tonight, well, in relation to narrowing down the options. I was talking with a friend, about how WB/DC seem to look for young actors, sometimes TOO young. Superman Returns is a good example. Now they choose Reynolds and BLAKE LIVELY for Green Lantern. Even though the characters have mature looks in the comics, production companies choose young looking actors for the parts, of course with the sequels in mind.

Now, Evangeline Lilly, who is 31, I can accept her as a reporter with some experience. I dig her looks for Lois. Maybe in 3-4 years she will look much older than she does now - SO WHAT? They should roll with it. I can accept that Tom Welling is a early 20s Clark Cent. I can accept that Daniel Radcliffe is a teenage wizard. Ralf Macchio as the Karate KID. And I am totally cool with the fact that, as do the actors, so do the characters age.

I wonder how would she look next to, lets say, Herny Cavill, who is 27, but looks somewhere between 24 and 30, which is a good thing. See, you don't just cast people, you have to make sure that there is a certain chemistry, complemented with some acting of course.

Looks like Lois and a jacked-up Jason Schwartzman. Routh was such a bad choice. Re-watching L&C right now and Dean Cain was awesome. Don't know why he gets so much stick.
so you are saying that Dean Cain was better than Routh casting wise for Superman......... and you want us to take you seriously?

Okay, I saw Black Swan last night and I literally can't tell you who this girl played. I'm not sure who she was in the film at all. So I have absolutely no idea if she can act.

That aside, Black Swan is an AWESOME movie and all of you should go check it out. After seeing it... dare I say Mila Kunis might be able to pull off Lois Lane. I know she's been bad in some films, but with good material, she does a great job. I'd also say Portman, but Natalie is already in Thor, so no need for her to double up her superhero love interest roles.

I stand with Mary Elizabeth Winstead.

She's in the right age for a start (26), she's pretty, but not too perfect, she's attractive, but not too sexy. And she can make the strong personality of Lois Lane looking sweet at the same time. She's talented and cool.

Plus, she'll make a great couple with Henry Cavill if he'll cast.

p.s.: sorry my English.
