I'd be very happy with blunt, mcadams, or wilde.
I agree.Zooey's too soft imo...not just looks wise, but the way she acts too. i was never really fond of her acting anyway. she's a cute girl, but that's all i make of her. also...mentioning Margot Kidder is a negative in my eyes, seeing as how they're trying to differentiate themselves from previous Superman movies.
Good point, but i dunno, she looks like a ginger to me. She has freckles and a terribly white skin and then she has a round face with cutesy details, basically everything you dont want in Lois.Wait, you realize Amy Adams isn't actually a red-head, right? She's naturally blonde, which I know Lois isn't, but she's already had her hair dyed every color under the sun (except maybe black) and it looked fine in every instance.
That said, I agree that she's wrong for Lois.
The point is though, disqualifying actresses because of their current hair color is completely ridiculous, since that's truly something that changes all. the. time. in Hollywood. And it usually looks perfectly fine - unless they're naturally dark and dying their hair bleach blonde or something. *coughJessicaAlbacough*
Looks wise i think Stroup is perfect for it. She just embodies the perfect look for the character. But that's only looks because i know nothing else about her.Regardless I still want to know who your picks are.
You seriously need to get a new retort because this response has and always will be ridiculously stupid.I am not saying my choices are better, but proposing those women for Lois is as appropriate as proposing Streep. She's a good actress right?
I say give her a shot.[YT]RF4Jeia6VQI[/YT]
Lois Lane.![]()
Thanks. These are some pretty Awesome candidates for Lois.![]()
Go watch Wild Target. It's the most fun I've seen her have in a role.i dont think emily blunt would be good for lois she does'nt have the personality for it imo she is very stoic and serious in all her roes i barely see her smile
Watch Wild Target as well as Blunt actually looked Katy Perry like throughout the movie.Bare with me guys, I'm going to throw her into the mix. This is very unlikely, but what do you guys think? She does demonstrate attitude, she is beautiful, and she is spunky.

Btw, i like Wilde just as the next guy, but i dont think she'd be good for it. I just have never seen her do the bubbly, charismatic girl see.

I like Adams but i think she's wrong for it in general.?????????
So you want Amy Adams personality and acting but not her face?
Shouldnt Lana be in Flashbacks of Clark's past? That would mean that Adams is too old to play a teenager, but if she was younger she would have been perfect.About Amy Adams,I think she is absolutely perfect for the role of Lana Lang, not Lois.
Zooey as Lois and Amy as Lana would make me very happy.
Annalise Van Der Pol would be my choice for Lana in a flashback.Shouldnt Lana be in Flashbacks of Clark's past? That would mean that Adams is too old to play a teenager, but if she was younger she would have been perfect.
I agree. I mean, unlike you, I think she LOOKS ok for the role (she looks just fine with darker hair), but I agree she just generally doesn't fit the Lois mold, acting and personality-wise.I like Adams but i think she's wrong for it in general.
Eh, Lana doesn't need to be in flashbacks. It's not like she hasn't appeared in present day Metropolis from time to time. I just doubt she will in this reboot of a new story, as that seems more like something that would happen to shake things up after the "status quo" in Metropolis has been established in a previous film. But hey, if she did, Adams would be great for it.Shouldnt Lana be in Flashbacks of Clark's past? That would mean that Adams is too old to play a teenager, but if she was younger she would have been perfect.
