We can argue about his whiteness, but he's certainly not black.

You're Canadian. You wouldn't know a black man if he was right in your face.

Zenien is offended by the very notion of a black man in her video game, so she makes up stories about him being white :csad:

Haha.

I played ME as a black guy (Well....I am one)....I made a Will Smith clone....and it just made the game even more movie-like - Haha. I really wanna play the game as the default character as well though...

But the Ambassador certainly isnt black.

I'm tired of Will Smith movies. I Am Legend was a piece of crap I-Robot clone.

He also certainly isn't white. At least, not Western European white.

Great game. I just beat it two days ago and am now on my second playthough. Just out of curiosity did anyone play as any of the "pure" classes? It seems most people go with the hybrid classes.

Played my first time through being a "pure" soldier. Second time through I will probably use a hybrid of classes.

My first character was a Soldier. My second a Vanguard.

My third for Hardcore and Insanity will be another Soldier.

I just played the game again today. He is definitely BLACK.

He's very clearly of a mixed heritage, but he seems European, his accent is anyway heck maybe some black as well, but he's not 'Black' sorry. Udina isn't an African name for that matter. UDINA ISN"T BLACK GET IT THROUGH YOUR HEADS, Captain Anderson is Black, Udina is most likely Morrocan, but he seems more of mixture of white and East indian than 'black'.

Most of the character in the game seem like a mixture of races. The developers supposedly did that on purpose as a design decision so that it would be easier for people to identify with the characters and so players would pay more attention to the characters themselves and not their races.

Udina isn't African-American as Anderson is, and I don't think he's African either.

He struck me as a very definite Middle Eastern-ish feel. Give or take. I don't really care about that entire region place thing over there, so I'm not going to try and be technical. :D

Udina's skin tone is off, if he's supposed to be middle eastern. His skin would need an added orange hue to match those from the middle east. He has the skin tone of a black man, and while his facial features seem somewhat off, I have seen black people with non-typical facial feature shapes as well.

But I have never seen someone from the middle east with light black skin.

Maybe your colors are off.

He fits the bill fine for me. His skin tone is most definitely not the same as Anderson's, who seems to be the only black man on the Citadel-side of the galaxy.

THERE ISN'T ROOM FOR BOTH OF US ON THIS SIDE OF THE GALAXY, PILGRIM.

It's like in that movie when there are two black guys at a party, and one has to leave. I think it was "Not Another Teen Movie".
