I knew YOU meant that. I was making a point about here, which is why I put here in the reply.

I guess a lot of people have left the Hype games forum but back when the generation started hardly anyone had a PS3. I hardly posted as it was pretty much ridiculed to own one! Most games tend to develop their more hardcore fanbases from where they first launch (like you've said before). I wonder how TitanFall 2 will be received on PS4.
oh, I see.

I wouldn't know about any of that since I didn't show up here till 3 years ago. but if most hypesters are american, it makes sense that most had a 360.

As long as they don't touch how all the perks work. I destroyed everyone and everything with my handgun.
I want the perks! Just want the characters to move smoothly in combat like they did in ME2 onwards.

Final Fantasy was the game that totally decided which console I'd choose last gen, even though it was delayed and appeared on 360 too. Now Mass Effect would be that game if it was exclusive, and not counting games that are already exclusive.

I could definitely see ME being a timed exclusive or console exclusive on the xbone.

It would have to be very heavy and EA have probably already seen with TitanFall it doesn't always benefit them if the opportunity cost of lost future franchise sales is higher than what they get.

But this is one game where a timed exclusive might actually mean something. I'm not a fan of that rubbish though.

I also don't see it happening. Now, Sony giving them a heavy suitcase... maybe.

But Bioware isn't really hurting for money, and neither is Sony. Plus they already secured Street Fighter.

One thing I hope for, is that they finally add gamepad support for the PC version of the game. The lack of gamepad support for PC defies any logic and reason, and makes me want to hurt someone over at Bioware.

No controller support? Are they living in the dark ages over there?

ME4 being timed exclusive to the X1 would be a big enough reason alone to get me to buy an X1 again.

if it is a timed exclusive I wouldn't make the jump but if it is a permanent exclusive... oh man.

This will probably be the first Mass Effect I play on the PS4, since I pretty much have no interest in a XBox 1. Infact I've been debating about restarting all 3 ME games on the PS3.

I thought you hated 3 too much to play it again?

My mood on playing varies. ME3 still has fun gameplay and missions, plus I love those armor pieces. It's really the ending that keeps me from playing. My mood is either disappointment or anger, so I never bother to play again. But I can still enjoy playing the game, it's just the ending that deters me usually.

I won't lie though, I have had an itch to play the series again because I got nostalgic, but my 360 is 2 states away from me. But since I barely use my 360 for some exclusive games, I end up using my PS3 more, so I figure if I want to play the ME series again, might as well do it on the system I use more.

But then I'd have to buy the games and all DLC again. Which...is somewhat difficult to get around. I will lose some pre-order bonus too because some didn't make it DLC.

It's a long process, gotta decide if it's worth it.

Oh right, if you haven't got the 360 anywhere near you to play them then I guess it might be worth rebuying them. That or waiting for a remastered collection if it happens. If no remaster is announced within a year or so it might be worth getting the PS3 collection to replay ahead of Mass Effect 4.

there will now be motion capture.

lol but there was always motion capture prior to this .

We'll see what the big deal with this is though.

I don't think the previous ME games were mocapped. I'm pretty sure they handled all the animations themselves.

To be honest, I don't think I've ever been able to tell if a game was motion captured or not.

infamous 1 did not, but infamous 2 did. at least the cutscenes did, I believe. if you look at the footage in between the two games I think you'll be able to tell.

it wasn't all throughout though. but it seems that will be the case with Me4.

the character models for Shepard & most of the characters that were human like were full body scans if I remember correctly.

The combat for ME2 -3 were definitely mo - caped combat dodge roles & all

i'm not saying they didn't apply any motion capture at all, i'm just saying for most of the time it wasn't a hand in their method for animations.

yeah when I'm saying that it doesn't mean I'm dissing what your saying or anything like that . I'm just saying it was there in some form it was more like early stages. which what I meant with degree . it was mostly 2-3 that use it heavily I think.
