yeah well in the video I re put up for baneful which addressed you the lead writer said they weren't calling this ME4 at all as you ca see there. this was doe only cause the creator of this thread has it up from the jump. & the fact we do't have the official name it's a place holder til we have the official name.

So til we have that official name...... it's just the new ME ip from now. no "4 "

I was just using 4 to refer to the next main series non-spinoff game. It's the main game I want to be set in the distant future rather than in the ME2/3 period. I don't mind a spinoff being set during that time though.

See I can't help but feel that by setting the game in the first trilogy, they know they cant do much post ME3 because of those endings.It's like we can never go forward. After all that has happened within the games now we go back? Eh, idk. I guess this is their way of dealing with it.

hmmm I think it has more to do with a what a poster Elbastio a alleged buddy of the mod known as corpulent who told me that they said they do some stuff different between both Mass effect & Dragon age.

I can't, I'm gonna give Bioware the chance and benefit of doubt. But I won't fully commit to hype. At least not till gameplay and some story elements are revealed.

word. I never got over it, not that I'm losing sleep over it but that's just a major eff up of there's that's gone down in gaming history imo. It's not gonna make me not wanna buy Me4, it's just that I'll never get passed that horrible ending.

also, I'm sure da3 is a great game but I just can't get into it.

because man, why does every single shooter have to have a 1st person option

gta5 did that for the remaster and that's cool - I think that was the first time gta ever even was in fps. but more than likely it was put there to be the brand new feature and to have something more in the remaster.

There are fundmental differences between playing if first and third person. In a game based around combat, it could cause legit problems.

I know you weren't saying that; I know what you were saying, so my response is still the same. unless you prefer 1st person to 3rd person, I don't see why you'd think including it as an option should be a priority
