I'm glad they decided to go with updated graphics and not NES graphics again. MM9 was okay if it was derivative - which didn't bother me at all as I felt that was exactly the point, to be at once new and an homage to MM2, but I didn't think it was really necessary for MM10 to be 8 bit as well.

A Classic MM game doesn't need to have 8-bit graphics in order for it to be good.

I don't think you guys understand how happy I am. MM is my favorite franchise, and seeing all these announcements just made my day. So stoked for everything.

Such a great 30th anniversary. :)

At first I was indifferent to yet another MMX collection, and extremely indifferent to them coming out for the 20th time classic MM collections (I own the original MM Anniversary, MMX, and Zero collections) but now that the Switch is a thing, portable MMX4 is a must.

To my knowledge, they didnt announce an MMX collection but rather that the games were being re-released. We dont know exactly know but I hope its one collection

Brings back my hope of a Megaman X9.
And Megaman 11 looks great. Made me want to play it.

2 separate releases for 8 games? Whack.

Don't milk it Capcom. Who the hell is going to want to buy a collection with X5-X8? Besides me, because X8 was one of my favorites...

I definitely wont buy X5-8. I'm just not a fan. I really only like X1-3. 4&5 are alright, but not nearly as good as 1-3.

Yeah I mean, you gotta figure these will be $20 - $30... You can have two separate games of which only one is desired, or put them all in one package for $30 - $40 which makes 5 - 8 like a bonus if anything.

I have X4 on my PS3 and forgot how tough it actually is but I'm just out of practice. I have Mega Man X on the SNES classic. It would be cool to have them all on one console... I ain't picking up a PS2. I beat most of them except X6 and 7, but played 1 - 4 on the ZNES emulator way back in the day. Which I don't even really count since it's way easier while abusing save states.

----

I see GameStop is selling Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 at 19.99 new and used, which launched last year. Legacy Collection 1 is also going for that price now but I can't remember if it was more when it first dropped. So yeah, one disc for $30 and I'm in. Two discs, no thanks.

I hope it sells like water so they finally make X9 like they're making 11.

To my knowledge, they didnt announce an MMX collection but rather that the games were being re-released. We dont know exactly know but I hope its one collection

and two collections was exactly what I was afraid of. Capcom, please dont do it
