The worldwide demand for an Xbox 360 version (of MGS4) is quite high, and it is something we are currently looking in to.

Wow, well. Maybe it'll be MGS4: Guns of the patriots Subsistance on like 6 discs. If it is. Ill have to atleast rent it. But damn that would be so tempting to buy.
For some reason, I'd doubt that MGO will end up on Xbox Live considering that it isn't even a part of PSN.Hah yea, id buy it for the online portion. I just prefer Live to the PSN.
The rumour was already dismissed a while back.
Not this rumour. This came out of TGS this past weekend.
Yeah, and TheSixthxis dissmissed it a few hours later.
As long as MGS4 is, how many discs would it be on for 360?
But it would take a while for MGS4 to come to 360 maybe 1 1/2 years and by that time i bet Kojima and Konami will have announced the new Metal Gear Game.
What about Metal Gear Solid: Existence?
Yea i agree with you. The port to the 360 wouldn't be an easy or cheap port, which is what i think Konami is looking at. If they spend the money to port the game, can they make a good return? If that answer turns out to be yes, then you will absolutely see MGS4 on the 360. As for the next Metal Gear game, the chances of that going multi plat are much higher than MGS4.
and of course the last time Konami brought a MGS game over to the Xbox, it was a failureThe fans of the series (who make up the vast majority of these games' buyers) already own MGS4 on PS3, so porting it to Xbox 360 would probably only sell a few hundred thousand copies. Not only would Konami be unable to tap into an existing fanbase on Xbox 360, but also they'd have to penetrate a gaming culture that by and large hates the Metal Gear series (I've long lost track of how many times I've heard an Xbox fanboy complain that MGS is just an interactive video with no gameplay). MGS4 on Xbox 360 would be a very costly investment, and unless there 1,000,000+ people who have never been into Metal Gear and want to buy MGS4 on Xbox (fat chance), it's a pretty poor investment.
I chalk that Konami rep's comments up to being a gaff. We may not have an official retraction yet, but it's not like saying a stupid comment like "We're looking into it" when you have no idea what you're talking about is something you have to hold a press conference for. So for now...
