Lex Luthor. Darkseid is not solely a Superman villain, he's an enemy to everyone.

Thats true, but I could say the same for say Dr Doom in the Marvel universe(who is Fantastic Four's main enemy but has many times fought just about every Marvel character). I usually associate Darkseid with Superman first and foremost then as a enemy of the DC Universe as a whole second.

Yes, but Doom began as an enemy of the Fantastic Four. Darkseid did not begin as an enemy of Superman. He was just popularised as one. Superman just happens to have a close relationship with the people whom Darkseid was initially an enemy to (New Genesis gods).

So is Lex Luthor if you think about it.

Not like Darkseid is. Darkseid is the enemy of existence itself. He is the source, archetype and platonic idea of evil, whose mere presence causes reality to die and wields a word weapon that destroys life itself.

Lex is far more limited and obsessed with smaller goals. When Darkseid appears, usually you know the stakes are monumentally, colossally and unbelievably stacked against the JL and **** is about to hit the fan.

Lex is a far more intimate villain.

I don't think zod gonna be 8 feet and fully cgi.zod got 2 suits in this movie.one is armor from his neck down and not fully cgi unlike that guy that was standing beside faora.zod also got a suit that look just like superman suit.the only difference is zod suit is black and have a difference emblem on the front.

I think its gonna be more like a robotic suit that body armour. Shannon said it was a huge thing that they needed CGI for if it was just body armour he most probably would have worn it.

It's probably a Kryptonian battlesuit from the comics. Wouldn't surprise me in the least if it was, and if Luthor got ahold of it in the future.

Yea, In the SDCC footage the quick glimpse of Zod, although hard to tell doesn't appear to be that black suit he was photographed in. it's probably the cgi armor or whatever it is he is wearing. But your guesses are as good as mine.

I don't think that's been revealed yet. I remember some website saying that Zod and Faora have been on earth for a long time and don't make their presence known until Superman makes his debut, but that was probably just a bunch of BS.

Read through one of the Dark Knight production books earlier, and Christopher Nolan says he prefers to right a story and settle the main conflict first before picking his villain. So the idea of Zod being used to illustrate how Superman's place as a legacy of Krypton to Earth and an examination of the kind of power he wields works really well.

And if that blue beam in the teaser is what destroys Krypton, than I hope we know exactly who triggered it, whether Zod, Brainiac, or Black Zero.

Seriously, with Shannon we should consider ourselves blessed. His test-scene with Wincott in The Iceman and the flip out-scene in Take Shelter...

If he can get even close to that intensity in MOS we're in for a scary ride here.
