Thanks Mr.thing
I will do some tests of the design on the trunks to satisfy everybody, but I like this design,it´s a cool new concept for a Alien suit for Superman...

could anyone do a do a manip of Superman Earth-one and Superman Birthright costume?.Id like someone to legthen the Trunks in those 2 pics so that it becomes almost Knee length in the manip.Reason Im asking is just so i can see how well it can do in Live action.Would be grateful if someone does I have a feeling it could serve as modern modification of the Trunks.

Gross...

I like this \S/

the size of it

There's.... nothing wrong with the size.

Some people may not like it but I rather like the bigger \S/ emblem.

there IS such a thing as "too big". i've heard plenty of girls say it...

...it looks good is comics and drawings, but a shield that big just doesn't look good in real life. i don't want a repressed shield like in SR but it shouldn't be like Alex Ross's either. Alex Ross's Superman shield = Todd McFarlane's Spider-Man eyes.

I don't know why more people don't like the big "S", i love the big "S"... and everyone keeps talking about how they like/don't like the Earth One suit but no one has made a manip of it... they have made tons of manips of suits that have never been used, etc. but not one single Earth One manip

both of those pics have a "S" that is WAY TOO BIG...a little smaller please

Go big or go home. :o

But seriously, it's not that bad. It's not like Alex Ross-ian levels of hugeness.

I don't want an "S" that goes from his collar down to his friggin belt line...that's outrageous...

A Shield that big on screen would be overwhelming and would not be taken seriously I feel. Especially if they wanted to use a rich color palate. They would have to make a very dark suit to accommodate this. Too small, however, is underwhelming (SR). Meet in the middle and its a solid shield.

we wouldn't know what that looks like on the screen or even on a person because there isn't one manip with that big "S"... and the "S" only seems to cover the chest, its just wide, not that long

Co-signed, DF.

Always hated Ross Superman 'S'; always looked to me like Superman had flown into a kite.

What probably makes him look small is his height and the material and the design of the costume itself, i doubt its the "S"... in fact, if anything the "S" would actually help you look wider and bigger since its stretches over your chest giving the impression of width... if the neck were open but higher up, the opening could be a little wide like cain's but it should be higher in the "cleavage area" up to like right under his neck like a t-shirt and the "S" where higher up on the costume, that would make him look huge

i dont have photoshop so i can't do it obviously, but what i meant is something like this... just done right...

He is half an inch shorter than Cavill. 6'0" isn't puny by a long stretch.

Pretty much my most favourite depiction of Superman will always remain Jose Luis Garcia Lopez' version from the early/mid 80's - as far as I'm concerned, the proportions are spot on:-

Not too small, not too big.
