Outside of the word ''hell'', I don't recall any other cussing.

Romney meets a gay veteran, but doesn't realize it.

Mitts face when the guy is talking about ''it'' is just....wow. Mittens doesn't like gays....

Someone should tell this guy Gary Johnson wants gay marriage a federal right.

Lol i heard him called Mittens for the first time today. He will forever be Mittens to me.

Well, for one thing, the sheer number makes it highly improbable. Especially since many of them state that they are the only true one. The exact number may never be known, but humans have invented thousands of gods. Granted, many of them were minor deities.

Then there's the fact that they all make claims, with absolutely no evidence, and rely solely on faith. And 99% of them have fallen into obscurity, or been lost to history.

And I also notice that none of their mythologies have come true (since the world still spins, with us on it). But then they did say that the messiah may tarry. Perhaps that's the case. It's only been a few thousand years.

And again, how do you know.....well in the whole scheme of things a few thousand years isn't really a long time.....and the last prophecy for Christians...."Peace in Jerusalem"....so yeah with that one...maybe it is a myth....:cwink:

It is truly, one of those things we won't know.....until we die ourselves. I guess that is why they describe faith as...belief in things unseen.

We just don't know.....but I guess we will find out one day.

I am not sure if anybody saw Mitt's 911 memorial speech but it rubbed me the wrong way

1. No use attacking the current leadership
2. why bring up defense cuts
3. honestly do we have to know on 911 you were at the "Ronald Reagan" building(although this one I can give a pass for it just felt like a forced reason to bring up the name RR)

Which is why religion has no place in government. We should be running the planet based on things we do know.

I don't think "we" should be running the planet at all, we can barely run our own country.

Sheldon Adelson Stands To Get $2 Billion Tax Cut If Mitt Romney Is Elected: Report

Casino mogul Sheldon Adelson's backing of GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney may not just make political sense for the billionaire -- it may also be in his best interest financially.

Adelson has vowed to spend as much as $100 million to help sway the 2012 election. According to a new report by Seth Hanlon, the director of fiscal reform at the Center for American Progress Action Fund, Adelson could turn that investment into a $2 billion tax cut if Romney is elected.
Now that is a pretty good return on investment if his gamble pays off

Quick question for those who support Republican economics. Do any of you think he will use this money to hire more workers for his casinos or pay his existing employees more money?

Well I expect a couple more jobs to be created because of this for the bank that holds his cash. Trickle down baby

I actually haven't seen anyone's speech from today.
Romney election triumph would sink US reputation in Europe, poll says

Quick, someone start up a Europeans 4 Romney Facebook page!

That doesn't surprise me...

Romney's wasn't bad but he did get a couple jabs in their about policy(mainly pushing the defense cuts as being wrong without mentioning Obama by name). Now John McCain on Fox was in full Neocon beating the chest mode about how bad Obama is when it comes to Foreign policy(and bad for all the wrong reasons(ie he is not tough enough))

How in the world is President Obama "not strong enough" on foreign policy?

How in the world is President Obama "not strong enough" on foreign policy?

Well he wants to cut Defense Spending is their big rally cry now(but let's be honest when all is said and done that won't happen) and I guess the fact he hasn't carpet bombed Iran yet is a huge negative in their eyes.

I honestly don't see how the talking heads for the Republican party can't see beating your chest kind of foreign policy is a thing that works in the 80s, not just after the country is closing out it's 2nd war in a period of 10 years of war. I at least give Romney some credit realizing it's a losing issue and trying to shove it under the rug and hope nobody notices.

I think he is about to be tested, right here before the election.

There are two people on this planet who have no business giving advice on how to beat Barak Obama: John McCain and his silly heifer here.

But they're probably right in this instance. Obama isn't holding back. Romney shouldn't either.

I think Sarah Palin would have sufficed.
