Sequels The official NEXT ROGUE thread

Just to compare, which look of these two would you preffer for her in X4?

the X2 ponytail.... or a short hair one?

I'm still going with the pic on the right b/c she looks like a woman rather than a teenage girl on the left pic. Also, IMO if Rogue is gonna have straight hair, it should be short. If she's in X4 she needs to change her hair somehow. I hated how she was the only female that didn't go through any hairstyle changes in all 3 films.:o

For some reason, so many fans haven't like Rogue version, so that would be for a few reasons, between them, the look, hehe.

Anyway, I'm working on a new manip, and is looking really good, better than my previous one, I hope all like it.

Edit: it will be my best Rogue manip ever, believe me.

I look forward to seeing this manip.

which mutants from the comic can fly? I mean, which one they could use, apart of Ms. Marvel?

true, hehe. And the flight?................................................
 .............
Storm?
hahahaha.

It's funny, Rogue could have been the Rogue of the comics in X3, with those two mutants in the film.

Comic Rogue recently took Sunfire's power. Sunfire can use solar power to fly.

In X4, I'd like her to take Magneto's power. That'll give fans of her Ms. Marvel days a temporary look at flying Rogue in the movies. ;)

but.... I mean, why Magneto can fly?
Magneto wears a metal suit, which he then levitates to make himself fly. If Rogue puts a little metal on after touching him - heck, she could pull some metal out of the environment and mold it around her waist - she could also fly.

yes, that's what I was thinking, but is a bit weird, and complicated. The best way is Rogue touching Storm, she is the most closest mutant with flying habilities.

I don't think it would be wierd. I mean, Magneto is an excellent character and there's no way I'd want him to be out of the series, but should a 68-year old be in the final battle against Sentinels? Maybe from a distance, but I'd much rather see him take a more Xavier-like role in that he isn't very involved in the big battles.

On the other hand, I'd LOVE to see Rogue in the final battle. Unfortunately, her powers are pretty much useless against the Sentinels.

So, we have a guy with great powers for the final battle, who we don't really want to see in it; and we have a gal with terrible powers for the final battle, who we desperately want to see in it. She's got the power to take his power, so we can have everything we want. :cwink:

i hope she gets her power back, an if she does she better be able 2 fly an start kickin ass

For Rogue is more easy to fly with Storm powers than with Erik. That's what I was meaning... controlling metal don't make her can fly suddenly, you know? hehe

Yeah, I get your point. I just don't think she should get Ms. Marvel powers on a permanent level; however, I think most fans of that Rogue era would love to see her flying, even if it's done Erik's way (levitating oneself by wearing metal). ;)

And what about having Magneto and Storm powers at the same time?....

eh? hahaha

hahha. Me too, but in another city, a big one.

Wouldn't it be fun to, just for one day, have Rogue's power and be put in a place like Xavier's school? Touch Storm and make the weather nice, touch Bobby and build an ice castle, touch Logan and heal from anything, touch Kitty and spy on people through the walls. :woot:

that hait looks horrible for rogue, it looks good on the manip but i wouldnt want that for the movies, id want her hair down and curly, like how rogue should have it

I agree that if it's gonna be long it should be curly or wavy, not all straight and flat. However, I still prefer the short hair for the sake of looking more grown up and b/c Anna's face doesn't go with curly hair.

Once agian people are debating how Rogue should gain additional powers. I still think that can happen if she became a horseman for Apocolypse. His machine could manifest it.

I'd like her to have long hair, done a few different ways depending on the scene. In uniform, though, she should have long, straight hair. It doesn't seem like she's the kind to pull out the curling iron before saving the world. :oldrazz:

I think she should have her own powers in X4, but gain Pyro's power in X5 as a take on the Sunfire storyline. I've already figured out how she would take his powers, and it would actually be quite moving and a great moment for Pyrogue fans (don't worry, though, they don't kiss or anything). :D

I'm sure the metal suit idea would work as well. But the general census is that Magneto can repel against the magnetic fields of earth allowing free effect of gravitational force, thus allowing levitation.

As for the topic at hand, It shouldn't be too hard to replace Anna Paquin and the mediocrity she instilled upon the role in both psychical look-wise and acting ability. I highly doubt they would ever pick an actress more unfit for the role than how she was.
