I'd buy it if Slott, Simone, McDuffie, or Kelly were writing it. That'd be comedy gold. :)

I'd buy anything Slott writes. I'm a total Slott-****e.

I've went back and bought the back issues of everything Slott has written. I'm just a few issues shy of having all his comic work.

Wow. These first few pages had several twists that I didn't see coming.
And is that Doom. Because it really looks like Doom, but we've been teased before with his return in MTU and it wasn't really him
If it is Doom returned with his flesh armor from hell,.... Squirrel Girl is going to have a serious issue.

(oboy!)

All right, JMS just redeemed himself on that last page alone. **** "Sins Past," Aunt May berating Wolverine and forcing him to go get donuts kicks ass. :D
Oboy,.. another reason to beat Wolverines azz.

Sorry,.. I'm the sole member of the "Wolverine needs his butt kicked regular" Club.

Wow, the continuity between Uncanny and Wolverine seems fine. I'm still waiting to see if Logan just happened to be in the Savage Land for New Avengers, or if he was there because of Uncanny. If so, that means New Avengers takes place a little before or during Uncanny X-Men.

Hahahaha, Stilt-Man! This Marvel Team-Up looks like it'll be an improvement over the last.

Didn't Stilt-Man give up the life of crime though?

yep. he found out that Daredevil was the new Kingpin. he walked into Matt's law office looking exactly like Bendis and sporting a sling around his arm. he handed over his armor to Murdock and announced his retirement.

Actually the artist is John Paul Leon, not Lark like the site claims.

Dunno how long he will stay, the original solicitation said Epting would do the art...

CAPTAIN AMERICA #7
Written by ED BRUBAKER
Pencils & Cover by STEVE EPTING
"THE WINTER SOLDIER" Part 1 (of 6)
The questions plaguing Captain America's dreams and memories have been answered in the most brutal way possible. And in the wake of this brutality, General Lukin makes his first all-out assault! Our second arc tears open old wounds and threatens to make new scars that will never heal.

Yeah, I thought I remembered something like that happening.

That makes more sense. It didn't really look like Lark to me.

I thought Epting was supposed to be on it too, and that solicitation backs up what I remembered.

Hmm, I just noticed issue #8 had exactly the same solicitation.. that makes me think #7 is a stand alone issue focusing on Nomad and Winter Soldier arc starts with #8.

What the hell happened to John Paul Leon? Didn't he used to have a gritty style that was really similar to Lark and others like Doug Braithwaite when he was penciling Earth X? Now he's gone all cartoony with thick outlines and less detail. It's not a good change, either.

Huh... the Excelsior gang got a ship. Are dogfights in the future? Er... frogfights?

JRJr art on Wolvie looks sweeter than ever. :(

It's the main reason I buy the title. The story's only so-so.

Those are some damn fine-looking Sentinels. Too bad I'm not reading Wolverine.
