The Official Previews Thread

All right, I gotta say it... I can't stand Michael Gaydos' art. It's good, don't get me wrong; he can tell a story and he can do it well. But his style is just so bland. Oh well, the Neal Adams and Pasqual Ferry pages look great.

Uncanny X-Men? I think someone made a mistake when they uploaded the previews.

Wolvie's claws look terrible on that cover. I hate when artists try to exagerate them to the point the they are longer than his forearm. HE WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO BEND HIS ARMS!!!!! Dammit I hate it when they look like that. I mean look at the cover, those wouldn't even be useful, they'd be too clumsy.

Naturally, the GLX-MAS SPECIAL and the YOUNG AVENGERS SPECIAL both look great. Thanks for the links.

You on a good roll with that Ryan Sook stuff, but you went off to teh curb here, man:mad::(

Eh, I'm not into Gaydos art either. I find it distracting to the story. I couldnt even finish Pulse's second arc do to the art. Couldn't really get into Alias either.

Like I said, I know Gaydos is a good artist, I just can't seem to get into his style. His art wouldn't stop me from reading something, but it wouldn't really be a draw for me either.

Gaydos rocks my socks, literally, he comes over and rocks them, it's kinda akward, but I like his art so I let it go. What about Lark, lukewarm on him too you ****ers?

I'm really wondering why their making this Sable & Fortune mini. I've never met a fan of Sable (well, maybe one) and I doubt many people even remember who Fortune is. Must have been one heck of a pitch.

That Doc Samson preview didn't give me any indication of what the mini will be about, other than that it'll feature a lot of Samson, Nick Fury, and Skrulls communicating with each other.

I'm really looking forward to this mini. Dominic Fortune is one of my favorite obscure characters. And Silver Sable ain't that bad either.

It sounds like a good premise and the art looks very interesting. John Burns is not someone I'm familiar with, but he's caught my eye. I can definitely see some Eisner influence in his line-work and facial expressions. And it looks as if he has a good handle on how to get action across. So far I really like it.

The Inevitable has me really excited. Classic villains galore and a (hopefully) timely schedule! It may well be the comic that makes me like Iron Man again. I like the texture Irving gives Iron Man's armor, too.

Glad to see the Falcon in Cap's comic again. I like them as a team.

Every new James Jean cover I see makes me want to put down my pencil, cut off my hands, and cry. He's so goddamn good. The stuff inside Runaways looks good, too. I'm a little worried about what the priest wants to "give" to Molly, though. I hope he's not a stereotypical pedophile priest or anything.

That RUNAWAYS #11 preview is great as always. Spidey got in a great line and every page draws me in. Just as it should be.

Is this story about the Hydra Weapon after the New Avengers ark in Amazing

Probably. I'm pretty sure this story will tie into it somehow.

Dominic Fortune is an old mofo...is this his son or something?
