Lat me say that Joss Whedon should stop doing movies and TV and script X-Men comics full time. The chemistry this team has is astounding.

the hulk previews kind of misleading i guess but it looks good.the prelude one,the other i still think is a dream sequence when he does that to all of them and i hope he ends up doing worse then that.

I thin MJ does look a little like Liv Tyler in some of the drawings. What I really like is that the artist is giving MJ her classic Romitta look. Giving her her dimples and cleft chin. Even her hair, although some of it is a flash back or something.
Still, that stuff about her was lost somewhere down the line. Its cool that its sort of back even if its just for an issue.

Astonishing X-men looks great. I can barely wait till its all in one book to buy it all.

More previews: Avengers: The Initiative, Iron Man, and Omega Flight

The Omega Flight one doesn't have anything new. I don't know if the Iron Man preview's been shown before. The Initiative one, however, has a page with a major breakthrough. On the one hand, I hate that they're still ****ing dwelling on Hank's mental instability after years and years of perfect sanity, but on the other hand, another breakdown would definitely go a long way to explaining most of his recent actions.

Why is Tony in a SHIELD outfit?

I don't think we've seen him dressed like that in any of the other "Director Stark" appearances. He doesn't look good in the uniform.

No, he really doesn't. He looks lowly. It works for Fury and even Maria Hill, but not him.

I think it works fine. I don't understand why he'd be wearing a puny SHIELD uniform if he knows he's got factions who want him out of the Director chair there, though. You'd think he'd want his armor on him in the Helicarrier.

Poor Steve-O. I wonder what'll happen when he comes back. Will the serum magically reactivate, or will his first arc upon returning be about him trying to recover his superhuman physical powers? Intriguing...

THANK GOD someone finally slapped *****e for that damn line. If I had to hear Tony say "Don't you think I hate this?" or "Don't you think this is killing me?" or "Don't you think I wish there was another way?" or some other such pointless one-liner to shirk his responsibility one more time...I swear to Buffy, I would FIND A WAY to hurt him.

I like that Valentina's getting some play again. After her great appearance in the Union Jack mini, I was hoping to see her and other recognizable SHIELD faces around other comics. I don't like it when SHIELD is just the recognizable leadership and a bunch of nameless agents.

That Spidey annual doesn't look anything like Larocca's work, but I like it, although his MJ is a little odd here and there. As for the Captain America #26 preview, I don't mind Tony wearing the SHIELD uniform and getting slapped by Sharon, but I'm mostly wondering why she hasn't admitted to shooting Cap yet. Maybe they could actually help her and get her out from Faustus' control.

I doubt she wants Tony's help with anything now that Cap is dead and he's indirectly responsible without any hypnosis involved. She'll probably head off to Fury or Bucky or the New Avengers and get their help in undoing Dr. Faustus' meddling.

Well, Brubaker's pretty much admitted that Cap's book will now follow Sharon, Bucky, and the Falcon for the most part, so I'm guessing Sharon's part of the story will feature her trying to fix her screwy head now that she's free from SHIELD.
