The Official Previews Thread

...not really. I'd call Allan Heinberg a Hollywood writer too, and he's a TV-guy.
I'm talking about the people who were here when the argument came up. The people he's crusading against. I've no doubt plenty of people share his opinion.

The people he's crusading against? "Everyone else"? I see two people. :o

Btw, is NA #11 the first issue that doesn't have a variant cover?

It's gonna be interesting to see how that affects sales.

hollywood really denotes film more than television

Considering most major TV studios are in hollywood, I don't see the difference.

Excellent point. I'm interested to see this as well.

Is DiVito taking over for Cheung permanently on Young Avengers? I think this new art is pretty darn good, actually, but I liked Cheung and don't really want this to become one of those books that swap artists arc-by-arc, especially since we're not even a year into it yet.

Can I say how much that preview cracked me up, though? "The New Young Avengers." Plus Luke's take on black superheroes. It's been said ad naseum that other writers are writing New Avengers better than New Avengers...but one more time couldn't hurt:D.

Well, two more times. 'Cause, hey, look at Amazing Spidey.

Sorry. But I doubt many people make that distinction. If you had a friend who went off and hit it big on a tv series, and started treating you like crap, you would say that he "went Hollywood." Would people really say to you, "To be fair, he's not in movies, he does tv."?
I would say he went Vancouver, because Vancouver has many shows shot there. Plus, I mean, I like to throw Canada a bone, you know, because when do they really get referenced in everyday language? I think my friend made a Dudley Do-Right joke once. Could have been Aesop & Son though. Aesop & Son had animals too, not Moose, but I mean, rabbits and stuff. Man, good tv.

Perhaps you missed the part of the post where I said sorry.

Good God, I've spent this much of the day on stupid crap.

So She-Hulk might join The New Avengers. Cool. They need more women.

i don't even like SheHulk but i think she should turn them down cold. he's got the nerve to say that they've been monitoring his progress? she's been on the team before and an active superhero since the 80s. i bet she could take down jessica drew and luke cage.

I love that Young Avengers! I kinda wish we could have seen the battle with Shocker though, he's one of my favorate villains. And I like the Cap, Luke, Spidey scene too. I really like how everyone's playing Spidey and Cage off of each other. That's one of the reasons why I'd rather Ronan not be Iron Fist. Everytime people mention Cage they mention Iron Fist,.. it's like they're joined at the hip. I like that Cage is finally getting some screen time and growing as a character by himself.

I agree.... on all points....

and I think that She-Hulk should of been included in the original idea of the New Avengers... She is to much of a cool character not to have that happen... think about the dialogue between Wolverine and She-Hulk... that would of been funny ****....

I think by "tracking her progress," Cap probably meant that they'd been observing her to see if she had anymore crazy gamma outbursts.

heh, you beat me to it. I was going to say I think Cap meant they were watching her to see if her powers were under control now - not her suitability to be an Avenger

Works for me.

It has two extra pages compared to the preview I posted earlier.

Shouldn't this be like vol 4 though?

Her first series was Savage She-Hulk and the second was Sensational She-Hulk. Technically her last series, by Slott, was her first to just be called "She-Hulk."
