The Official Previews Thread

I didn't read Slott's first She-hulk so I don't know, but she needs a bracelet to change back and forth now? Is that what that was?

Anybody think we'll see the GLA make a guest appearance in She-Hulk? Or maby The Thing?

Genis-vell doesn't seem to be much on an addition to the Thunderbolts. he's the only character who doesn't intrigue me at the moment and his costume is a blatant rip-off of Northstar. oh well. maybe that will change sometime in the future.

Wow. Rough stuff going on in The Other. Also, kinda sad to note that this ruins JMS's ASM run, as far as continuous.

Cable and deadpool, the best recap page in all of comics.

Yeah, that CABLE & DEADPOOL recap was pretty sweet. Almost makes me want to buy the book. But I won't.

Can't wait for GRAVITY #5, which like MARVEL NEXT was made solely to be made into a digest.

Don't care for either Deadpool or Cable. Although Deadpool can be funny in small doses, he's simply "Spider-Man as a ninja" with a healing factor at heart. But Cable I outright can't stand.

Plus, never read the book before. Don't know what's happening. CORP and I are locking horns about something like this in the BOUGHT/THOUGHT topic. ;)

But, more for the first reason. There are already too many books I "should be buying". This won't be one of them.

his sense of humour is much darker than Spiderman's. he's more like Dane Cook as a ninja. all depends on who is writing him really. there have been times when i couldn't stand to read his title. and other where i found him genuinely entertaining.

yeah, now how exactly did Luke Cage do that to the server?

Dr Doom said:
That is why Dane Cook should play him in the movie.

yeah, after about a year of getting into shape.

I cannot believe I don't have this issue yet, I was laughing my head off. DeadPool is saying exactly what I've been thinking ever since NA came around...

A year?

a year. i'm bigger than this guy. seriously, compare him to Ryan Reynolds; the original pick. he should get in as good a shape as Reynolds. maybe it wouldn't take a year but it'd sure as heck take more than a couple months.

Dude, Deadpool is not a huge guy.

Plus, Thomas Jane was small but then he worked out for a couple of months. Now he is big.

It wouldn't take a full year for him to get a little bigger. 3-4 months tops.

Well two things,
1.) that's an old picture, the guy has been hitting the weights lately.
2.) with a personal trainer, twice a day, plus regimented diet, He'd be at DeadPool size in about 6-7 months. But that's hardcore.

What was your workout routine for The Punisher? "It was about six months of brutal training, twice a day at the gym, a Navy Seal guy would come over to my house and take me to the firing range, firing live rounds down the range, primary and secondary weapons. Learning edge weapons training, one man military incursions, hand to hand combat, Filipino martial arts as well as Israeli martial arts. It was brutal.
But how do you keep from getting too massively big? Right, that’s important. That takes years. That professional bodybuilding stuff, you start that when you’re 16-years-old and it takes years. You can’t do that in six months." -- Thomas Jane

consider that Jane had already done Deep Blue Sea and at least one other movie that required him to exercise somewhat intensely. Dane Cook is a standup comedian. he does physical comedy but that's not all that equivalent to weight-training. Deadpool is a professional mercenary.
