The Official Previews Thread

I know what you mean but Deodato at least has a unique style that made him worthy of working on a few arcs of Marvel's flagship title. This guy should be working on Spider-Man unlimited or some Dan Slott book. It's standard and uninspired super hero style art and Amazing deserves something better.

Heehee:D

Hey, She-Hulk's Juan Bobillo is pretty damn unique and cool:mad:

Although, I have noticed that most Dan Slott fans don't like Juan Bobillo:(

But yeah, Garney, seems like a fill-in.:(

Looks like he's staying for at least a year.

Assuming I'm still reading Marvel comics after Civil War is over I'd like to see JRJr finally come back.

Yeah. I'd like to see him on at least something. It's too bad he left Wolverine.

Wasn't he drawing one of those New Universe books?

I like Garney, myself. His style isn't dazzling or gorgeous or anything, but he did some very solid, good-looking work on Captain America. I didn't like his X-Men much, but his Spidey looks pretty good. Either way, it's better than Deodato's lopsided faces and grotesque musculature. Perfect for the Hulk or some other huge, badass character; not so good for Spider-Man.

My sentiments exactly! Deodato is a decent artist, but he was sorely mismatched for Spider-man.

Am I the only one that thinks that Tony and Pete are breaking the fourth wall and are looking at us the readers in that conversation about MJ's arm? As if JMS is saying, "See? I listen to fan complaints! Happy?"

MJ's arm? wha??

Its not working for me either, which pisses me off because I really want to see Civil War 1

Just keep tryin' man! I got it to work, wierd, sometimes it would freeze other times it would work. Just keep tryin'.

If you read the ASM preview, you'll understand. Pete asks Tony how MJ's arm got fixed so quickly after Morlun broke it. Tony gives an explanation (in reality, it was an editing error that Marvel acknowledged as a mistake) and he and Pete both pause and seem to look at the reader, breaking the 4th wall. It's as if to say, "are you fanboys convinced?"

I'm excited about both Astonishing X-Men and Civil War. I'm excited to see the New Warriors in a major event again. Astonishing just looks interesting.

You do know that chances are that they all die horribly, right?
