Sly Cooper is a PS3 port, why would it not work on a home console version of a Vita? If every game requires extensive patching then... God damn. This is a nightmare.

This launch was rushed. No Netflix support even. You can download the app, but it's not supported. Same for Hulu and Youtube apparently.

Because the PS Vita runs Vita games, not PS3 games. The Vita version of Sly made use of motion controls and touch gesture on the screen and rearpad
No every game does not require extensive patching. That's not what was said here
