would save me the trouble of having to trade in my PS4.

I'd buy the Neo if they announced the PSN would stay up consistently. Between outages with the PSN and all of Overwatch's server problems I'm starting to think that online gaming is no longer worth my time.

but that won't happen.

though, BC with at least the PS1 classics on the store would be nice. would love to be able to play the old FF games again.

Never made any sense to me why the PS4 is not backwards compatible with PS1 games. I thought at first it was bc they were going to use that to make PS Now look more attractive but 3 years later and those havent been added to that service. PS1 games are emulated so its not like they need to be recoded as PS4 games, like the PS2 ones were for PS3.

FFVII is actually a port of the PC remaster, not the PS1 original
