The sound effects for Phoenix won't have been on set. They would have added them later.

I'm still not sure as to whether it was Phoenix or Pyro. It could have been any of them at this point. They seemed too far away from Phoenix to be her however.

I was under the impression it was just the noise that whatever equipment was being used to make the flames made.

It was Pyro. He's burning cars again (He seriously needs a girlfriend). You have to listen to the director who is talking in the background.

Yeah it's a high pitch screech, presumably from the equipment. Building up pressure and then letting the fire blast upwards.

After listening to what the man said, I think it's safe to say that it's Pyro.

It's really difficult to describe the noise. It's not one you hear often. Not one you can link to anything recognisable.
