“I’m like a cockroach,” John said cheerfully, just to piss Bobby off, “I always come back.”

It's from a fic... when I ask myself if Pyro is dead... I just remember that line :D
I'd love to hear that in an X4....

Nice.

If another movie comes along where Pyro is needed, they'll find a way of demonstrating how he survived. That was the beauty of not actually showing him die.

We'll probably never see him in another X-Men movie again!..

Dammit...Now I want some resolution..

Oh that a fabulous picture of Pyro:D

Pyro better in X4 if it is made:o

Which Pyro do you guys prefer? X2 Pyro or X3 Pyro?

I, for one, prefer the X2 Pyro. Frankly, I did not like him in X3 as much as I did with the X2 Pyro. I felt he was more developed in the second movie and, of course, his whole causing-chaos-outside-of-the-Drakes'-home scene was one of the mind-blowing scenes I've seen.

Go, Pyro, go. :)

Yeah I liked thye scene at the Drake's home to very much....
Especially when Rogue takes his powers and saves the cops :p

Definately X2 Pyro. He had a few nice moments in X3, and I got a kick out of him trying to fill the shoes of Magneto's right-hand-man at the mutant meeting. But aside from that he had no character development - he was essentially just another goon.

Definately X-2! Not that I disliked him in X-3 though.

I agree with ya.In X2, many of Pyro's scenes was more memorable like the police scene.I didn't have much of a problem of him in X3 though.

I prefer X2 Pyro as well. I remeber a lot of him in X2 when he set the bloke on fire and going crazy at the drakes house lol. I agree with you Lex he was more developed in X2. I also liked him metting magneto in the second. I really can't remeber him that much in X3 accept from the final battle.

Hands down... X2 Pyro.

From every facial expression to snarky remarks. Everything he did/said was memorable.

"You know those dangerous mutants u see on the news?... Im the Worst one" -Classic Pyro line from X2

He was more define in X2. We got to understand him better.

In X3 he became more of a mindless henchman, and there wasn't enough explanation of why he switched sides, and whether he was conflicted with his past. I would have liked to have seen more scenes between Iceman and the X-Men, discussing his switch and whether he made the right choice.

Ive never visited this thread before so sorry if its been posted already, but is Aaron also in the movie The Hills Have Eyes? I read his name in the credits but could not remember him at all in the movie.

It's nice to know I wasn't the only one thinking of a scene like that.

Chris mentions it in the novelization.

Aaron played Doug... the main character.

I have caps but you'll have to flip around for Doug...

agreed. I think X3 could have captioned more on his deeper feelings in feeling inferior and how being a mutant did alienate him, but sort of gave him some significance and power. PRolly why he pumps himself up, cuz having that power is sort of what gives him strength (maybe in his own mind). Remember in X2 when that guy took his lighter away in the foodcourt? "not so tough now are you kid?" Maybe he feels he has something to prove.

The showdown (if you wanna call it that) between bobby and pyro was inevitable, but it seemed so much like "lets just do it". there's so much more going on there, like pyro's jealousy of bobby's (previous) close family ties, etc...you could see it when he looked at the family photos in X2. X3 sort of lacked any depth in their relationship and interactions. Even if it was just the battle, they could have at least exchanged a few lines that hinted or explained more of the tension between them.
