The Avengers The official "Remember when...." Thread

1. Worrying if Jane wouldn't be referenced in the film

2. Labeling Kevin Feige as the Devil Reincarnated

3. Worrying about how Joss would tweak the screenplay during when they were filming.

4. Calling Loki too small of a foe to bring the avengers together due to Thor having already defeated him

5. Redacted

Yes yes, I remember all of those moments especially the hilarious "Redacted" moments. :woot:

How about when people thought the hulk wasn't going to be featured as much since TIH under performed

Remember when:

RDJ as Tony Stark?!?!??!
Double-you. Tee. Eff.
The hell were they thinking, getting a washed-up drug addict to play Iron Man?!?! EVERYBODY knows they need to hire Oded Fehr or Johnny Depp. This Iron Man movie is gonna tank big time

I remember when people were bashing the costumes in THOR during post producting, with the "The Masters of The Universe" and "power rangers" insults.

Okay, being a little bit too nice isn't Jackman's fault...

But he's really too good looking. Jackman ist considered one of the sexiest men alive, something that Wolverine shouldn't be.

Of course it's right that a character like Wolverine has some female fans. But IMO the actor who plays Wolverine shouldn't be more attractive than the actor who plays Gambit.

(In the case of Magneto, it's vice versa. McKellen did a great job too, but somehow I feel that women find Magneto from the comics a more handsome man than McKellen is.)

Hugh can't help being sexy. He was born that way. :word:

You might be surprised at how many women find Sir Ian sexy. Age ain't nothin' but a number and sexual orientation never stopped anyone from being attractive to the opposite sex.

Yeah you can't hold Hugh's looks against him since it's something he couldn't control, regardless of his looks he owned the role of Wolverine imo.

Fillion was floated for an Ant-Man cameo in the rumored second after-credits scene just this morning.
gods of asgard, I hope that's not true and really happening.
they could get a GOOD actor instead.

Man my favorite memories are after-credits of Iron Man and TIH, because thats when I saw those I knew this movie was gonna something special... And here I am less than 3 weeks

Remember when People were *****in over Cap's "Hobbit Feet"

^ I remember that vaguely

Does anyone remember people b****in' about Evans & Hemsworth not being "big" enough to be Captain America and Thor?

Remember when we were all up in arms about Ant-Man not being introduced for the Avengers in time.....oh wait..

I never made a beef about Hemsworth not being big enough. That guy went for it ..... he did everything he could to get as big as he could. Nothing but respect for the guy. I remember watching interviews and he said he knew what Thor looked like it so in order to fully assume the role of the character he had to take it there.

Everyone remembers John Krasinski almost being Cap... but remember when Channing Tatum's name came up in the running?

/\ This is why WB made the worst choice possible by ditching Whedon's 'Wonder Woman', kinda wonder if part of him is going, "hmm, should have listened to me" right about now lol. (Read the script, trust me, it was epic!)
Wonder-Woman fell through because of scheduling problems much before Green Lantern was even a possibility.

Agreed

Yet some people still think so despite his huge muscle increase, as well as people who b**** about his slight muscle loss in TA.

Was Matthew Mconaughey ever considered for Steve Rogers ?
Because, I vaguely remember that.

He was a lock-in, but pulled out at the last minute when he found out he'd only be shirtless for one scene.

:oldrazz:

When Darcy was speculated to secretly be Hela in disguise on Midgard.

:funny:
