Comics The Official ROGUE Discussion Thread

Yeah but still.....

I'd imagine that scenario is one of Sinister's all-time dreams. At least, if you replace Mystique with Apocalypse.

They'd have to stop mid-kill so Sinister could change his pants. :woot:

Lips so should have the last word...

Lips': You do know they're not your actual children, right?

Sins': Poetic license, a$$hole.

Lips': You do know they're actually in it for the CHICKS, right?

Sins': La-la-la, I can't hear you!!! Shapeshifter, lalalalala!!!

Yeah, that totally needs to be Alt. reality.

We've already had an Apocalypse rules the world one, and a Magneto rules the world one. We NEED a Sinister rules the world one. The Evil Cyke/Sinister/Gambit offing of Apocalypse can be the prologue.

House of Essex, Age of Sinister, whatever. Just make it happen.

There is just too much untapped comedic potential with Sin/Cyke/Gambit for that not to happen.

Oh dear.

Sitcom with Daddy Essex disapproving of his boys' choices in women? :D

Cyke: Damnit, what it is with you disapproving of them so bad?

Sins': They're both f****n insane. And keep in mind who's calling them on it.

Gumbo: Now, now, Roguey isn't, well, not that... huh...

Cyke: ...Touché

Plat Scalphunter as the straightman, and you've got comedy gold.

...Essex not being exactly a LADIES man...?

Somehow I just don't see him with a female harem. Maybe both genders, though.

I was thinking about Arclight or Vertigo actually. Probably not Arclight though.

I'd see it happening.

Scott: Oh my God, they killed Mystique!

Remy: You bastards!!!

*Everyone stares at Essex*

Sins': What, I ain't bringing the scow back. Kept telling me to keep my pants around you two or something.

*Laughter track*

Even though I hadn't really thought of it before, I'm really liking Rogue as a leader.

Sort of like a natural progression to her character.

Makes me wonder what other X-characters could eventually be made into good leaders.

How about a future X-Team led by................Jubilee!

To think we are only 5 short years away from it. Woo-hoo!:woot:

Uhh, no. Rogue's impulsive, brash, angry, headstrong, stubborn, immature, and a whole bunch of other things a leader shouldn't be.

Yeah, and thats why I like her as a leader. I feel it brings a different vibe to X-Men leadership.

Ah, yes, the glorious "Brash/borderline psychotic people should get to make decisions" debate yet again. :D

I'll try not to touch that one. Seriously.

...?

Cause brash is Cyke's middle name? And I *did* say psychotic. Not aloof nutjob. Which aren't the same thing. :p

Unless you're implying Cyke fans aren't huge fans of psychos in charge. You'd be absolutely right. :D

I love the leaders that the X-Men have had over the years. I don't think anyone could really compare to Cyke or Storm.

But I think having Rogue be a leader was an interesting twist. It brings a whole new perspective to leadership from an X-Men veteran.

I guess so. I mean, she did invent the "fill the team roster with known traitors and rush into life-threatening situations" technique.

lol

Good point.
You see, its the instability she brings to leadership that the X-Men have been missing with Cyke, Storm, etc..............

Our whole point is exactly that.

Bringing instability inside a paramilitary organization is BAD. :p

Makes for great ENTERTAINMENT. Just no actual common sense.

ive seen some spoilers for after mc, though i havent seen or heard anything about rogue.
:csad:
starting to think she's the one to bite the dust, carey stopped talking about her all of a sudden.
