I'm pretty proud of that second pic It's chance that I caught it at just the right time, but I don't mind taking credit!

She was absolutely gorgeous. I feel like I'm in another world when I'm snorkeling (well, I guess I am kinda). At one point she swam right up to my face like was going to kiss me or bite me, I couldn't tell which! We could swim right next to her and hold her flipper, too. Too cool!!

they're pretty scary.

one minute, i'm just swimming regularly, and the next there'sa turtle 4 feet long 2 feet below me.

It was perfect. I'm fortunate to have visited HI on several occasions, but the very first time I saw green sea turtles in Waikiki, I was getting dressed for the wedding. Everytime we visited Hanauama Bay we swam for at least an hour with turtles, but we heard most people don't usually see them. When we returned for our anniversary, there were a couple swimming right outside our hotel (very unusual) everyday. It felt like they were there just for us.

Unfortunately, no.

A friend of ours lived at the HI dropzone for a couple years and took some AWESOME video. Skydiving is always beautiful, but jumping over that kind scene is literally breath-taking.
