Maybe for PS2 and Wii, not for the PS3 and 360. After i fought Fisk, i was sure that the reviewer on Ign.com was a dumbass. He said it took him almost an hour to beat Fisk, i took him down in less than 10 min, it was a kick ass boss battle.

Well ,the first time i fought him, yea it took me awhile and then he just killed me, but once i was like "oh yea i got that rage thing" i just dropped him. Dropped his cronies too. Im really enjoying the game, minus a few things here and there.

I hate that stupid first New Goblin mission. After a while it won't let me hit the left bumper to block ANYTHING.

I beat venom - put I'm getting my butt handed to me by the second Conners mission - The last despenser - man I just can't hold the lizards off

the game is worst than Spider-man 2. I think the reviews are valid

You gotta be kidding me man...the story is better, better villains, better combat with more moves and combos, slightly worse but still great swinging, better new york, more random crimes....I can only think of one way it's not as good as sm2 and that's swinging, and even then it's still damn good.

Honestly... I hate the swinging... I really hate it... it's not fun and I just don't get it... maybe it's more "realistic" or something I don't know... but I hate it.

It is better, all around, I'll admit that, and it made some significant improvements, but the game still strikes me as unfinished. The PS2 version is buggy... Spidey still feels lifeless and the story is laughable, disconnected from the movie and still further disconnected from the gang terroritory plotline, which is painfully repetitive. Is it better on 360 or PS3?

I sure hope so.

I've been tired of critics, professional and otherwise, since X3, when everyone was hugging on bryan singer's nutsack, claiming SR was gonna be the best thing ever and x3 would be crap. It wasn't, it was great, but of course they couldn't admit they were wrong so they convinced themselves x3 sucked. I doubt there's many legitimate haters of X3 who genuinely don't think it's a good movie, just a bunch of bandwagon jumpign haters, a nd it's the same with spiderman 3 (the movie that is).

Uh, dude, you have a reflex meter. It depletes when you hold down the reflex button. Ya gotta learn to pay attention to those things. You can upgrade it over time.

Gah, i hated that mission. I just stayed near that last canister and did the best i could, use that super attack, its the one where he leaps into the air and slams back to the ground(on the 360 its RB+Y). It took me a couple of tries but i got it.

Im with you on the swinging. I just am not a big fan of it. The story is deff not a strong point but i wasnt expecting an RPG like tale so i wasnt worried there. I think game is mad fun.

Well i loved X3, and Superman Returns for that matter. As a movie, i thought Spider-Man 3 was fantastic, but i was still disappointed by it. I agree with you about the bandwagon thing tho. After reading the review on Ign.com for the 360 version then beating the game myself, I'm positive that the individual behind the review either knew going into the game that he was gonna score it poorly or just was plain incompetent. Nothing he stated appeared to hold any water while i was playing the game. He *****ed at how long it took him to down the Kingpin and that was one of the easiest fights in the game(for me anyways). I mean the game isn't perfect, but its deff not a 6 in my opinion.

The controls were ALOT better in SM2. Controls can make or break a game and they arent as good here. That in and of itself brings the game down and makes it no where as good as it can be. The fighting just comes across as lame and simplistic compared to SM2. I think this is the weakest of the 4 Spiderman games to hit the PS2

yeah the PS2 version is bad. Its made by a different developer and not the same team that worked on SM unlike the next gen game. I have it for the PC but waiting for my graphics card to come in before I can play it. When that happens, I will give my opinions on it and hopefully the next gen versions are better

well its only my opinion but being a big X-men fan and Jean Grey being my favorite character ever, they really messed up her story and the whole movie was a major dissapointment for me bc of it.

Um not quite. Space should have stayed out of the film. The only good thing the movie had going for it was its fight scenes which were pretty amazing with the special effects. I dont want to get into all of my reasons why that film was a disaster, bc we're already getting a bit off topic, but suffice it to say, it was nowhere as good as it could have and should have been
