How does Flash forgotten his own identity? Wouldnt he realize once he took off his mask?

He was working as a mechanic in a police garage. As far as he knew that's all he ever did until his powers started coming back. Then he found Barry's old ring and remembered everything. Then he found all his closest friends, took his mask off and they remembered everything too. Kind of a mental blind spot placed over the whole world.

Probably because the Hulk makes no sense on a team. People just kept putting him on them because he was popular, and then they found a way to rationalize his association with the Defenders a bit. Lee probably just figured he could cash in on the Hulk's popularity by introducing the Avengers with him, then ditch him right afterward so the Avengers stories would actually make sense.

But this really should go in the questions thread, so I'm moving it now...

Oh so it was Barry that forgot he was Flash not Flash that forgot he was Barry. Now that makes more sense

Well, you can use a gun as a hammer, but it's still a gun.

Yeah, and you can use a screwdriver to stab someone in the eye. The line between "weapon" and "tool" is pretty blurry, especially when you get up to something that can manipulate reality like the Infinity Gauntlet. It seems like it's used more often to kill and/or to benefit the wielder at others' expense than anything else...

But the Hulk wan't popular at that time. His comic was canceled after 6 issues.

Pretty high up. Mjolnir barely gets used as anything other than a hammer than can summon lightning these days. But Thor used to use it for all kinds of things. Like matter and energy manipulation. Or to open dimensional portrals.

Most powerful weapon in the Marvel Universe is probably the Infinity Gauntlet.
Thanks, Morningstar.

He's set to be a regular member of the new roster on X-men Legacy this summer

Ahh. Is that book any good? The only X-books I read are Uncanny X-Men, Uncanny X-Force, and Wolverine. Been thinking of expanding. ;o

It's been ok to good depending on the arc. If you want to start on Legacy, I'd start with the recent Age of X story arc, which had a few issues tied in with New Mutants, as the fallout from that will fuel the book for awhile.

Also if you're thinking of New Mutants, I'd start that with the latest issue that came out a week or two ago that was the first with the new writers Abnett and Lanning.

Yeah, I'm expecting both New Mutants and X-Men Legacy to pick up after the Age of X crossover.

I was also surprised by how much I've enjoyed Daken: Dark Wolverine.

Mephisto.

Loki dips into the power of Mephisto. Or at least the source that Mephisto is the incarnation of. Loki is just a "user".

:doom: :doom: :doom:

I don't even know what that means. Loki strikes me as the better actual trickster, though. Mephisto doesn't get nearly as complicated with his plots as Loki. I mean, Loki tricked Mephisto himself to be reborn as a little kid so he could reinvent himself, just so he wouldn't become too predictable. Mephisto's become little more than your standard Satan stand-in over the years. He shows up to look evil and cackle a bit, then shuffles off back to Hell in time for tea.

I dunno. His plot to make Dr. Strange weaken the planes between Hell and Earth involved several issues and arcs with characters like Dracula, Ghost Rider, The Six Fingered Hand, Asmodeus Jones, and The Surfer. Meanwhile he fooled Hellcat and everyone else into believing she was Daimon's sister and Satan's daughter.

I could go on. That lead up to Defenders 100 was due to the Satanic Legion and I suppose Mephisto is all and none of them.

So Thor is like nailed to the World Tree right now or something along those lines?

Nope. Thor is not nailed to anything at the moment. He's fighting the Silver Surfer in The Mighty Thor and he just escaped back to Earth in Fear Itself. No nailing of any kind going on (except between him and Sif, ifyaknowumsayin'! :awesome: :awesome: :awesome:).

Gotcha. Is Odin still being a mean spirited bastard?

Yeah, although his reasons are a bit clearer now. It's all because of prophecy, which has always brought out the worst in the old bastard.

I wonder sometimes if Odin gets tired of Thor finding reasons (or having reasons thrust upon him) for not taking the throne of Asgard...
