Nobody read Secret Warriors and can give me more details on SHIELD's being back?

Where are you getting that Jean is back from that? The character that was Revenant is Rachel, not Jean.

Oh okay when I read phoenix my first thought was jean all these red heads look the same im sick of this crap, lol, good thing we have the stupid questions thread.

sorry, I ditched that book on the first issue when they revealed that Shield was actually secretly under the control of Hydra. Stupidest thing I've ever seen.

The Hulk is separate from Bruce, and like the previous times, Hulk is completely rationale (or rather not a rampaging killer unable to control himself). But the 1st time Bruce and the Hulk separated, the Hulk became a great threat to everyone (or rather a rampaging killer unable to...control... ...himself...) Why is that?

So did I. I picked it up again for a couple issues that heavily featured Ares and his son, but I didn't stick with it beyond that. Hickman's very hit-or-miss for me, I've found.

WTF does marvel think they are doing with these Crossgen properties???

So when did Avengers Academy reach a climactic ending?
According to the preview for #21:
http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=preview&id=10256
They have new students, new teachers, and stuff:

New students! New staff! New West Coast Academy!
A Classic Avenger is murdered…and everyone’s suspect!
Captain America, Luke Cage, and Hawkeye guest-star to…fight the Avengers Academy?

So what issues would I need to get for that ending?
I'd like to see if students turn on the Avengers or which ones if any die, etc.

Just pick up the Fear Itself tie ins. All will be explained there.....and maybe the point one issue from a few months back........eh, just get the whole thing.:yay:

What they should do is put out a graphic novel of the finial issues of the unchanged team roster, all the comics including the tie ins from Fear Itself and the Point One comics, in the order they were published. So that I wont have to search around for them. When I first picked the comic up I was hoping for a big story about the themes they were leading to but then one arc ended it seemed and another began without dealing with that so now that the team is changing they must have dealt with that stuff. And I'd like to see how.

I'm sure there'll be more trades of Avengers Academy that will have the series up to this point in there. You don't really need Fear Itself to understand AA's tie-ins, either.

The problem would be if they published all Avengers Academy Fear Itself stuff in one book, and all the Point Ones in another book, and all the Avengers Academy in a 3rd book. So that to understand the storyline I'd have to buy all three books when maybe they could fit all that into one book. Kirtby's Fourth World New Gods stuff put several titles into one graphic novel. It goes like this, Jimmy Olsen, then New Gods, Mister Miracle, Forever People. Something like that. One one book, when they could have published a book for all the Olsens, then another book for all the New Gods, a different book for Mister Miracle, etc.

That brings up a question,
How much of the run of any of the Avengers Academy stuff do I need to read? Does the whole series lead up to the ending of the "First Class"?
Do I need to read every issue because the story arc that is so important to the end starts at the beginning? Or does the ending really start like 6 issues before the last one?
Also,
Is it a big ending, like a climax, or is it more like just another issue only some characters leave or something? (I haven't read the issues so I am making this up) but is it something like,
The team fights in Fear Itself, then some leave the team and others stay, but not much else happens?

Why don't you read the whole thing just because, you know, it's good?

It ain't like it's that much to go get.

It's only like 2 trades. Also, you don't have to buy them both at the same time. :o

"Oh no! Storm's been turned into a vampire by Dracula!"
*kills Dracula*
"Storm is normal again!"

"Oh no! Jubilee has been turned into a vampire by Dracula's son!"
*kills Dracula's son*
"Um, Jubilee's still a vampire. Logan, go take her to a remote location and reenact Black Snake Moan in a miniseries until she's a good vampire."

Honestly though, Storm had more going for her. Being a vampire is the only way Jubliee seems to remain somewhat relevant in the X-world

Rictor became a more interesting character without his powers, and then they gave them back to him 5 minutes after Jubilee got turned into a vampire. Then you've got Dani Moonstar, who's been more relevant than either of them and she's running around with a bow and a rifle.

Jubilee hasnt been relevant in the X-world for years, with or without powers. Losing her powers gave her some decent development in New Warriors (oddly enough as the X-writers couldnt be bothered to use her) but prior to that, she was in limbo following her forgettable run under Austen

Yeah, but they didn't need to make her a vampire to make her relevant again. If that's how you make a character relevant, then let's vamp up every poorly written character whose popularity is slipping.

They needed to have at least one X-man turn into a vamp for that stupid Curse of the Mutants story and unfortunately for her, she was chosen. It could have just as easily been a character like Husk, Wind Dancer, Meltdown, etc... Without it though, I doubt she'd even be used and would still be populating the background off panel
