Marvel has already said that there can never be a Wolverine/Jean match up because Wolverine appeals to her Dark Phoenix aspect. Getting together with Logan would unleash the Dark Phoenix completely and destroy the universe.

No he cant control his powers. He was able to briefly in Astonishing X-men but I cant recall right now why that didnt last.

I think it needs to stay. Its more than just iconic; its his signature look. Without it, he just becomes a generic brunette. I dont think he needs to get it under control. He's done pretty well without that

I thought the other thing about the visor is that it allows him to have different radius of shots. Hence not just control the "power" of the shot, but also how wide it is. Else controlling the wideness of it was never something the visor did and he controlled himself. I'm not a Cyclops fan to where I'd know that.

Astonishing X-Men never did explain why his control over his powers was fading out, but the two arcs where he had control implied that that the issue is partially psychological. I imagine Scott could control his powers again if he really tried.

I thought he couldn't control it because of brain damage he acquired during that plane crash that split him and Corsair up.

That was the original explanation but they retconned it into being caused by resisting Sinister's mind control while he was in the orphanage.

Where are you getting that Jean is back from that? The character that was Revenant is Rachel, not Jean.
