Of course he would have to do the whole sleep cycle thing. He did it while he was King of Asgard.
Which trade?
Of course he would have to do the whole sleep cycle thing. He did it while he was King of Asgard.
So apparently Sabretooth is back? When? How? I thought he was coming back, not back yet.
As far as I know, Amora is still the Enchantress.
I'm pretty sure this is a very very stupid question, but if I'm not mistaken, all the Marvel events from Disassembled (2004?) till Fear Itself (2011) have taken...seven years, right? How long is that in the comics? Because I doubt all of that had could happen in the same year.Did it take less? I'm a little confused, please answer this stupid question!
Do you think it bothers Joe Quesada that his 'pet' character Carlie Cooper wasn't as well received by fans as he wanted her to be?
Well he did put a lot of hype into the character, boasting about how she was the most perfectly perfect girlfriend Spidey could ever or would ever have - and then she broke up with him in Spider-Island. It leads one to to wonder if that was always the plan or if Quesada & the boys felt the negative response from fans indicated she really wasn't worth the trouble (I know she's not completely gone yet but it doesn't look like she's getting any popularity spikes).1. Who said it's his pet character? Just because she's named after his daughter? He created her along with JMS, Tom Brevoort, Mark Millar, Bendis, Loeb and Axel Alonso. They were the main guys that thought out OMD. He had nothing to do with any of her further character developement, that has been mostly Dan Slott.
2. Who gives a s**t about his feelings?
Marvel has that sliding timescale policy. Basically, all of the events that took place in Marvel in the past 30-40 years of publication is more like 10 actual years. Since Fear Itself was 7 issues long and the story clearly wasn't 7 months long, the events took place over the course of a few days in Marvel time. If I had to guess....everything from Disassembled to the present stories is probably considered 2 years tops. There's a wikipedia page that breaks down the concept:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Floating_timeline
Thanks! A guess is pretty much okay. That's one heckuva year they must have had...plus the invasion too...
So does Scott Summers still have to wear the visor or can he control his optic blasts yet? I mean it been what 40-50 years and he can't yet? Any progress on this front?

How long do we have to put up with this Tanarus freak?
A storyarc or two so, a year maybe two.
And until that year or two has passed I refuse to read anything featuring Tanarus.
The Mighty Thor is still going to be following Thor as he makes his way back from whatever void/underworld/hell he winds up in after dying this time. It'll be split between him and Tanarus.
And Thor'll be back within an arc at the most. Think about it, we're just about in December and one arc is about 6 to 8 months. What's coming up in 6 months? Avengers, which features Thor and Loki heavily. Marvel would be off their nut to have Thor languishing in the afterlife and some imposter stealing his series when that giant-ass movie debuts.
Alright, when the trades are released I'll rip out the panels with Tanarus.
Franklin Richards should say, "More mutants."
Eat it, Wanda!

that annual didnt happen anyway. I refuse to consider it in continuity.
No.(Frown)
"Tanarus"? Thor dead??, Is ANY of this worth catching up on? When I stopped reading,.. Odin had embarrassed Thor in front of his Earth Buddies and took him back to Asgard in chains.
