So apparently Sabretooth is back? When? How? I thought he was coming back, not back yet.

It has yet to be explained but Puck escaped hell after getting that Demon Sword. Creed was down there as well so somehow he finagled his way out of there as Puck was escaping.

So is Amora the Enchantress or is someone else officially the Enchantress now?

I'm pretty sure this is a very very stupid question, but if I'm not mistaken, all the Marvel events from Disassembled (2004?) till Fear Itself (2011) have taken...seven years, right? How long is that in the comics? Because I doubt all of that had could happen in the same year.Did it take less? I'm a little confused, please answer this stupid question!

Do you think it bothers Joe Quesada that his 'pet' character Carlie Cooper wasn't as well received by fans as he wanted her to be?

Marvel has that sliding timescale policy. Basically, all of the events that took place in Marvel in the past 30-40 years of publication is more like 10 actual years. Since Fear Itself was 7 issues long and the story clearly wasn't 7 months long, the events took place over the course of a few days in Marvel time. If I had to guess....everything from Disassembled to the present stories is probably considered 2 years tops. There's a wikipedia page that breaks down the concept:

1. Who said it's his pet character? Just because she's named after his daughter? He created her along with JMS, Tom Brevoort, Mark Millar, Bendis, Loeb and Axel Alonso. They were the main guys that thought out OMD. He had nothing to do with any of her further character developement, that has been mostly Dan Slott.

2. Who gives a s**t about his feelings?

Well he did put a lot of hype into the character, boasting about how she was the most perfectly perfect girlfriend Spidey could ever or would ever have - and then she broke up with him in Spider-Island. It leads one to to wonder if that was always the plan or if Quesada & the boys felt the negative response from fans indicated she really wasn't worth the trouble (I know she's not completely gone yet but it doesn't look like she's getting any popularity spikes).

Thanks! A guess is pretty much okay. That's one heckuva year they must have had...plus the invasion too...

After he's messed up The 12, what is DC thinking giving JMS like 3 Watchmen book

So does Scott Summers still have to wear the visor or can he control his optic blasts yet? I mean it been what 40-50 years and he can't yet? Any progress on this front?

*Comment*
Personally I really believe the character can,.. but chooses not to.

Fans love Scott as a guy HAVING to wear goggle/visors/glasses or cause destruction.

By canon he's been "cured" a few times, but we keep going back to "gotta wear the shades" Just like we're about due for xaiver to step out in front of a bus and back into a wheelchair.

Where is Wonderman? He vanished in New Avengers,...

How long do we have to put up with this Tanarus freak?

A storyarc or two so, a year maybe two.

And until that year or two has passed I refuse to read anything featuring Tanarus.

The Mighty Thor is still going to be following Thor as he makes his way back from whatever void/underworld/hell he winds up in after dying this time. It'll be split between him and Tanarus.

And Thor'll be back within an arc at the most. Think about it, we're just about in December and one arc is about 6 to 8 months. What's coming up in 6 months? Avengers, which features Thor and Loki heavily. Marvel would be off their nut to have Thor languishing in the afterlife and some imposter stealing his series when that giant-ass movie debuts.

Alright, when the trades are released I'll rip out the panels with Tanarus.

(Frown)
"Tanarus"? Thor dead??, Is ANY of this worth catching up on? When I stopped reading,.. Odin had embarrassed Thor in front of his Earth Buddies and took him back to Asgard in chains.

That's probably something that will not be answered before Bendis leaves the book. Simon did claim that since he was resurrected by Wanda (way back in Avengers vol 3 #3), he is still really dead and is more or less a ghost. That's the way I looked at it.

that annual didnt happen anyway. I refuse to consider it in continuity.

I don't think that was actually simon so everything he said was just to screw with people.

No.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

I'd say it is, actually. Outside of Fraction's first arc and Fear Itself, he hasn't done anything especially horrendous. Tanarus' being
Geirrodur, Ulik, and Karnilla's attempt to infiltrate Asgard
is actually kind of cool, as is the whole
Asgardia thing, with Asgard trying to move to a republic system under the Allmother (although the Allmother characters themselves sort of don't make any sense).

So I'm reading the Jurgens and Romita Jr Thor run for the first time, and Asgard is destroyed. How did that happen? Also, how many time has Asgard been destroyed? Seems to happen a lot...

Quite a few. The reason behind Asgard's destruction in that trade is revealed later on in the arc. Thor wasn't aware of it because he was stuck in the Heroes Reborn universe after "dying" in the fight against Onslaught.

Does anyone have a answer to this super stupid question? Whats the deal with J. Michael Straczynski's references to Canada?
