His current one looks a little different with the huge pimp colar.

You mean the one from that Michael Turner cover? I think it had sleeves, too.

No. It's "collar." I don't mind the collar, myself, but I didn't like the addition of sleeves. I seem to be against sleeves in general these days.

Turner also cut off the scaly yellow wings, which worked a lot better than sleeves, I think.

Anybody else really hoping that, whatever else they do with Namor, they officially switch his costume to the black one in this series?

Seriously, unless the Atlanteans as a whole are retconned to be a race of exhibitionists, I will never understand Namor's scaly green underwear look.

I want this suit in his mini for sure. We saw in Civil War #7, and that's what I want him to have.

NRAMA: We broke news of it right here already, but any new thoughts on Sub-Mariner: Revolution?
JQ: The more we talk to Matt & Peter the more we realize that this series is really going to act as a culmination of numerous events in the Marvel Universe and that the Namor you see at the end of this series will be a very different guy than the Namor you know right now. If the first 8 pages of issue #1 don't convince you of that, then I don't know what will.
