pfft, I'd rather just go back to JSA having it's own universe.

They went through a whole lot of trouble to bring back the multiverse only to do nothing interesting with it at all.

Here's the solicitations for Action Comics #1:

The one and only Grant Morrison (ALL-STAR SUPERMAN) returns to Superman, joined by sensational artist Rags Morales (IDENTITY CRISIS), to bring you tales of The Man of Steel unlike any you’ve ever read! This extra-sized debut issue is the cornerstone of the entire DC Universe!
So i guess they gave the throne and crown to the King of DC universe. :p

Action Comics #1's cover surprised me, until I remembered that's supposed to be Superman in his early years.

Unveiling the new status quo in a Superman magazine with Morrison writing it is a winning move on multiple levels for DC. All the more reason for mass marketing in the next few months.

Well, I would too of course, but this is the best compromise IMO if they just HAVE to cram every character they own on the same Earth.

I think Captain Marvel would be better off in his own universe as well.

Grant Morrison had an idea to tribute the Golden Age Superman, looks like we're getting that with Action Comics #1!

Well I guess I'm done with Superman and Dc Comics, I'll be canceling my subscription come September . I refuse to support this relaunching garbage.

Personally, I think everyone would be better off in their own universes. But what're ya gonna do?

I prefer the main Earth concept. I should be able to open a DC comic and read the definitive versions of each character, with all their crossovers and possibilities intact. Leave the streamlining to the solo movies, that only need to account for two hours of entertainment.

Yeah that would be going too far, but I wouldn't mind if Fawcett, JSA, and Wildstorm had their own universe. Especially Wildstorm. Trying to combine the two will only result in f**king everything up.

I hope that Multiversity leads to ongoings for the JSA, Fawcett, Charlton, etc. stuff.

Normally I would agree 'Nubsy but Stormwatch is going to be written by Cornell so that sounds like it might be kind of good

Stormwatch coulda been written by Cornell in the Wildstorm U.

I"m sure he'll try to do what he can, but it's just gonna seem forced. Also, wtf is Manhunter doing as the head of f**king Stormwatch? I mean seriously? The job of Weatherman attracts *****e bags like spray on tan salons.

The greatest Superman writer (yeah I said it) writing an all new Action Comics 1# is probably the best thing to happen to the character in a loong time. everyone get around it!

I don't know. This could go down like Waid's Vagina monsters fiasco. :o

So all the time it took to develop Supergirl and now she doesnt care about humans.

Let's put it this way: If it's not Bruce Wayne or Hal Jordan, ****'s most likely gonna get different.

I better not have to go through SG decieding on a secret identity and trying to go to high school again.

Yeah this is gonna KO Superman for good...the only people that seem interested are those that worship the ground that grant morrison works on...where as I have only found a few stories of his that I actually liked...honestly I hate almost everything he does so yeah I guess I'll have to stick to my Superman collection and call it a day...

And considering Morrison's titles are always either top 5 or top 10 (always top 3 if its an event) thats a good thing, then they just need to get the new audience they wish to capture, but the current comic readers, well they do read Morrison so how can it be a KO?
