Them getting their money is seeing it through. :o

For the Superman family #16s they're joined by the Justice League against H'el. And in Action #16, Superman comes face-to-face with SUPERDOOM!

I am really looking forward to this new Snyder book. I find both current Superman titles to be underwhelming.

Just watched Diggles interview on Ac.Was interesting.Would have preffered Shollly Fisch on AC but hell do.

He says it'll be a few issues before we actually get to 'his' stuff because he has to deal with the H'el on earth ramifications which worries me a bit.But hes planned an entire years worth of Superman stories,So I have hope.

Diggle also revealed that Grants run is going to cover the entire 5 year span btw past and present,Not just the 1st year as we previously thought.Apparently we are going to be getting the remaining part of the 5 years worth of Stories compressed into the last 3 issues of Grants run.Quite worried that this will rushed and confusing.Heres to hopin.

I wouldn't worry too much. It appears as if it would be the same treatment he gave Batman in Last Rites, and I thought that turned out well. I really wish Morrison would stay a bit longer, or do an annual for Superman.

Personally I am not to sad to see Morrison go. What bugs me is that he went off and did his own thing with out keeping the rest of the Superman teams in the loop and pretty much held the other book hostage. For that I am not to sad to see him go.

For that, I respect him even more.

Superman 13 preview up
Read it and its uprisingly good although Lobdells overexposition is still grating. But the story seems quite solid and gives an allstar vibe.
Rocaforts art is downright Amazing! I mean Good God!I want him on superman for a long, long time!
Supes looks really good in a beard-no homo.

New 52 Supes is much more powerful than I would have ever guessed. Able to bench press the equivalent of the weight of the Earth? Can toss the moon out of orbit? Damn, they really aren't holding back.

What gets me more than that is he did this after spending 5 days out of the sun and still could have done more.

That preview sold me on getting Superman as a book again.

the art in that preview bums me out. i was indifferent to the writing.

Yeah, I'm buying it. Lobdell looks like he's doing exactly what he did in Redhood - giving the entire book a real feeling of purpose and legacy. Even though there technically is none. :o

And I love Rockafort, personally. Probably not the absolute best fit for Superman in particular, but it's still a pretty cool art style.

The dialogue just felt way more smooth in this preview than anything I had read in the book previously.

It looks pretty neat and the way Clark was written here made me smile :)

I'll be checking it out

And I'm looking forward to seeing what's up with hairless Lex Luthor in the modern dcu in this series at last

I'll buy it because even though Lobdell has been awful except for Red Hood, I think he writes decent character interaction.

As far as i am concerned new 52 Superman begins at 13.Well doneLobdell you have my interest.I like the way this clark feels like a natural evolution of the Clark in Action comics towards All star Superman.I dothink Lobdell went overboarda bit with the planet levels but Ill overlook look it for the awesome characterisation of Superman.

I apologize to all if this question is off-topic to this thread, but I did not know how to start a new thread, and the question is driving me buggy. Back in the 70's there was a villain that appeared in a few issues and for the likes of me, I cannot remember his name. He was a cowboy transported from the past to the present, and eventually developed futuristic weapons to battle the man of steel. Yeah, in later issues, he even picked up a jet-pack to fly.

Are there any fans out there that remember who this guy is. I checked out Wikipedia but he is not listed there!

so who's that girl in that Superman #13 preview??

my cousin's 11 year old friend while riding in the car: "....is superman real??"
