Yeah, it's a done-in-one. One of the best issue of Superman's existence.
In comparison to how trashy and pointless he portrayed characters like Thor, he was. Because he at least had a bit of depth and intelligence in his characterization.Wow, I've never heard anyone call Ultimate Cap "tasteful" before.
Nah, he changed a lot of them drastically - and offensively - too, he just didn't do it nearly as well as Cap.I got the feeling that he left the rest of the characters alone so that Ultimates would have some semblance of an Avengers book to try to draw in their fans. I'm sure he (and Marvel) had some fear that if he drastically changed all of the characters it might alienate his target audience.
Oh, "tasteful" for Millar. Okay, yeah, I can see that.In comparison to how trashy and pointless he portrayed characters like Thor, he was. Because he at least had a bit of depth and intelligence in his characterization.
oopsie. sorry to get off topic about ult. Cap, but cause Anubis brought up Kingdom come I had to read this again the other day..
Supes is/ always will be just the man!!
carry on.
I know. You can tell. It's hard to figure out when these events are taking place. It jumps around.
Also I thought we were getting a Superman crossover when is that suppose to happen. Not really.
Man that book is one the coolest! you had it for a year and havent read it? you should check it out. its all about these young gritty dark heroes who Supes has to skool!( i can understand that hehe) i totally dig it!! one of his best stories!I've had this issue for well over a year, but I haven't gotten around to reading it yet.
So the first time Siegel and Shuster used the name Superman was in a short story called [URL=" Reign of the Superman[/URL] which was about a villain with psychic powers. Looks like Morrison is bringing him back at the end of his last issue.
do the elite make any decent appearances after action comics 775? tbqh
