I like the DCnU AC look more then the Jim Lee designed armor suit.

BTW Who's t-shirt and jeans look do you like more, Superman or Superboy?

Me personally, I like Superman's more. I think it's the cape. The New 52 AC cape reminds me of one of the red towels I used too put around my neck as a kid.

I'm not really liking the idea of DC doing this 5year jump. Mainly because that puts Superman and Wonder Woman's relationship still going strong 6 years in while I always figured they would have put him back with Lois by then or at least start moving towards that by then.

Looks like DC is letting kara age again.

Action Comics #1 - eBay Auction Update

You will surely be seeing more information about this auction in the news, there are only 5 days left and bidding has already gone over $2,000,000. The Nicoas Cage copy which was also a CGC graded 9.0, is the only comic to sold for $2,100,000. Will this one break the $3 million barrier. We shall see.

I am stoked to have JRJr on Superman, even if it feels weird that he is with the Distinguished Competition. The cover for issues 33 was awesome! Have yet to read them but I flipped through and his pencils are lookin' as good as ever. Maybe even better than his last few gigs at Marvel.

I am wanting to go back and get all of Superman Unchained so far. That new Doomed series looks interesting too. Been in the mood for Superman books lately and I don't have very many.

We have a new record: A copy of Action Comics #1, graded CGC 9.0 with white pages and the best graded copy ever evaluated by grading service Comics Guaranty Corporation, has sold for the highest price ever paid for a comic book. The auction for the 1938 comic, featuring the first appearance of Superman by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, closed just moments ago at the price of $3,207,852.00.

The jump is only for one issue. And, based on the Future's End series it's tying into, they aren't together 5 years later.

It's sad that The Girl From Krypton arc from S/B is what got me back into comics and I followed Karas solo series when it first came out but I just can't get invested in the New52 Supergirl, nothing about her makes her that interesting to me.

LOL! I love that Harley/Superman pic above.
