Lois Lane will be getting the YA novel treatment come January from author Gwenda Bond. The book, titled Fallout, is from Capstone/Switch will focus on young Lois Lane just starting out in Metropolis. The 304 page book will be released in January. Will Superman appear?

Lois Lane is starting a new life in Metropolis. An Army brat, Lois has lived all over—and seen all kinds of things. (Some of them defy explanation, like the near-disaster she witnessed in Kansas in the middle of one night.) But now her family is putting down roots in the big city, and Lois is determined to fit in. Stay quiet. Fly straight. As soon as she steps into her new high school, though, she can see it won’t be that easy. A group known as the Warheads is making life miserable for another girl at school. They’re messing with her mind, somehow, via the high-tech immersive videogame they all play. Not cool. Armed with her wit and her new snazzy job as a reporter, Lois has her sights set on solving this mystery. But sometimes it’s all a bit much. Thank goodness for her maybe-more-than-a friend, a guy she knows only by his screenname, SmallvilleGuy …

Finally ! I miss investigative reporter Lois (The New 52) ain't cutting it, So I'd love to see how she started off . I'll defiantly pick this up

You know (and this is just a personal preference), I've never been able to get into novels based on comic characters or stories. I'm not sure why. But this genuinely piqued my interest. I have no idea who Gwenda Bond is (hell, I really don't know who most of the YA writers are), but I may get this. I love Lois and a book based on her early career sounds extremely intriguing.

Just finished Superman 34. I'm really enjoying Johns and Romita Jr.'s run thus far. It's very different from Unchained 's fast paced, all out action story, even if there are some familiar elements between both. Snyder's Unchained is still good, but I think Johns Superman is better so far.

So, where can one find these collector coins? I would love to pick up 10 and 15 piece just to have. My grandfather collects coins, too, so he may be interested as well. Weird that it's a Canadian thing.

I just wish they choose one style tom wellings looks doesn’t translate in comics

I like the top illustration the best by far. The trunkless suits really suffer when the art is sloppy and simplistic. I'm no fan of the moppy hair they insist on giving modern Superman either. It also helps when Superman's hair, face and body is drawn in a way where he's unmistakeably Superman even without the suit.
