Agreed! I'm still a couple issues behind, but now that Unchained's done it's easily my favorite Superman title going.

I might have to start reading Action Comics seeing as how Johns' arc has fizzled out a little bit. It's not bad, but I'm hoping the finale is better than the preceding issues.
Now the question is whether to pick up Action Comics Vol. 5 or just skip to the current arc. What should I do?

this actually bugs me. so, they decide to parody an iconic image of blaxploitation culture (that's fine), but not only decide to replace the black hero with a white superman. but they ALSO just kinda cram John Henry Irons, the black hero who should be featured, down in the corner with a little "oh hey guys, i'm here too!" hell, even with all the writers in their employ they couldn't even come up with a rhyming tag-line, which was a synonymous trait with Super Fly and his promotion (i.e. "He's got a plan to stick it to the man!").

Vol. 5 is great, imo. I'd start with that.

I think it was in 7 different issues if i'm correct. Also the name of the two issues where Batman beats Superman. A month or two ago there were reports that Superman was getting a new costume (with the debut in either ACTION or SUPERMAN). Has anybody heard an update on that?

It is supposed to be in the next issue of Superman, (Issue 38) releasing on the 28th. So about a week and a half from now.

Based off solicitations, where he remains in his regular n52 suit in following months, my theory is still that it will be a temporary suit used only in that issue. I am really hoping though that I am wrong and he gets a permanent suit change. Maybe they will change it after convergence...

Yeah, as much as I hope the theory of "they're faking us out with the New 52 suit on the covers of the next few issues" turns out to be true, I think DC would be making more of a fuss if he were truly getting a new suit. It'll be a one off.

Was Superman #38 delayed? In the original January Solicitations it said, the 28th of January. However now when I look into it, it says it will go on sale February 4th? This is the first I've noticed or heard anything about this. Its only one week but I am pretty annoyed that I've waited months for this big reveal and now I have to wait longer.
